Following a pair of debut colorways made in collaboration with Stone Island, the Tokyo Design Studio x New Balance FuelCell RC Elite v2 ‘Japan’ arrives in a standalone colorway inspired by the iconic ‘Steel Blue’ 1300. The upper features grey suede overlays, highlighted by strategic tearaway detailing that reveals an engineered mesh base in indigo. ‘Tokyo Design Studio’ is inscribed on the tongue, while an oversized Flying NB logo is 3D screen-printed on the toe box. The lightweight build is mounted on a bulky FuelCell midsole, equipped with a full-length carbon fiber plate for a propulsive feel.
