My son loves these shoes! He has been trying to start a shoe collection and he wanted them as soon as he saw them. He's an basketball player for AAU and school basketball and he's 6ft at 12 size 11.5 so shoes are very important matter for the proper wear with all his training and games. Because he wears an 11.5 sometimes its hard to find shoes his style or in stock .thankfully these were perfect in everyway to add to his style collection as a shoe he can wear comfortably off the court but still get good quality support for his feet.

This is my second pair of 2002r's and just like the first, they do not disappoint. As soon as you slip them on, you feel like they were made for your foot. Amazing comfort. I put tons of mileage on my first pair and my feet were never in pain. My only gripe is the mesh on the side wears out faster than anything else on the shoe. My little toe just wore it out. If you are running marathons, they are too heavy, but as a steady everyday walker it's a dream. They are a little pricey, but you feel the extra money as soon as you put them on. Get you a pair.

These are a great shoe for casual all day wear and I'm pretty sure are comfortable for running as well. The materials used on these shoes are high quality and are super lightweight. As far as sizing I would say you could go true to size if you have a wide foot or even a half size down if your foot is in the narrow side. I have 4 different pairs of New Balances and they've all been great. I will definitely pick up another pair of the 2002r's and recommend them to anyone looking for a shoe that feels comfortable all day.
I work in my shoes and I am standing on my feet and constantly moving around walking. This shoe elevates my walking and gives me a firm strong stance and balance grip that also helps each step you take feel great and stable. It's a great fitting on your feet nicely designed but more importantly comfortable and durable and gives your feet a secure strong foundation to stand on.
I have sever issues with any type of sneaker due to me having flat feet. I ordered these just to try them out and my goodness!!!! Not one of the best but the best sneaker I have ever worn and I didn't even get them in wide width. They are extremely comfortable even after a 12hr shift. Definitely 1,000% would recommend and buy these again.
Avid NB shoe collector, mostly MiUSA versions and a several other staples & collabs. This is my first pair of 2002s. For once with 2002s, I actually dig this colorway, so I made the plunge. Love when they switch away from the classic silver NB main logo patch - this black textured NB logo is the bees' knees. Fit just like the 1906s (same style sole) - True to size with most other NB styles. Quality and materials are solid; soft and buttery suede pieces, good textures.

Maybe it's just me but remember when back in the day you would get teased for wearing new balances? Well, I do but now not anymore. I have gotten so many compliments on these every time I wear them. I love that new balance is experimenting with some of the newer, fresher, and current sneaker designs. They are extremely comfortable which is shocking with most sneakers that are stylish. I definitely plan to buy another pair in the future. Great shoe.
