These are some of the sexiest shoes I own. They go with everything. The detail and different shades of cream and textures of the material mesmerize me. I wear these shoes to sleep in some nights. I suggest buying these shoes if you want a cozy, hot, comfy shoe that you may even shower in because they're so beautiful. While I'm a lounge lizard, this shoe does the job. It is comfortable, supportive, and obviously fly any color way you obtain. I went with the aluminum, and though I regret not getting the navy, this shoe is undeniably gorgeous. For it not being part of the "Made" line up, this one boasts superior quality amongst those shoes. Give this techy sneaker a shot, NB brought it back for a reason!

Step into these retro NB Running kicks and feel fresh and cool. Cushioning is amazing, and fit was true to size for me. Seams are a tiny bit rough on the inside, so definitely wear socks. Quality of Materials was slightly lower than the MADEinUS 900 series, but none the less provides amazing value. Suede was the Classic NB butter.*****Full Disclaimer**** I am a NB employee but the former is my personal subjective opinion.
Having had the originals the first time through the were one of my favorites new balance models that I literally wore out. Glad to see these come back and ordered the dark green version. Still a superior sock liner and cushion in the shoes although it feels like the forefoot may not have gotten as much cushion as the originals did. Looking forward to seeing these and others higher end early 2000's models rereleased.
The new colorways for the 2002R are incredible; I was debating a bit between the cream or the grey but I am very pleased with the cream. The liner is almost a silver blue but the rest of the shoe excels at drawing all and none of the attention to itself. I've never worn the 2002 series before and while these are definitely a fashion purchase, I'm already impressed by the comfortable ride. No abrasion points, nothing non-standard - just a buttery, ultra-smooth addition to NB's line up. While I prefer to purchase US-made, this small exception is worth it for the unique colorways and styling.
I bought two pairs of the 2002R. Both size 12, standard width. The olive colored one is a 4 star shoe; the navy, even though it says it's a 12D, feels at least a half size smaller. Hence, the one star, which rounds off to a 3 star review. After trying on the olive first, I assumed the navy was fine, therefore cut all the tags, and threw away the boxes -- making a return of the navy not possible. Hopefully, it will 'stretch' out. The only other comment I have is the toe box could be more generous.
As is with most New Balance Lifestyle model's these 2002R's are both fashionable and comfy as can be! They have a variety of colors to choose from (i choose the cream pair) and after wearing them a few times they are comfier than I anticipated given most of the comfy lifestyle pairs from New Balance are upwards of 200+ after taxes. The quality of the materials are very nice even though they are not a "Made in USA/England" pair nice suede's and breathable mesh. Sizing with this model i would recommend going TTS; I usually go down a half size on all 990 models but i went TTS on this pair and it fit well. If i didn't have other new balance shoes in those colors i would definitely get another pair
I fell in love with not only the silhouette of this shoe but also the quality, fit, and colors. Absolutely love everything about shoe. My only issue with this purchase was a rather damaged shoebox, while the shipping box was in perfect condition. I reached out the same day and they rectified the issue within 2 emails. This went a long way with me, as I am a collector and the box is almost as important as the condition of the shoe. Keep it up NB customer care! 👍👍
This is probably my favorite non "made" product from NB. The construction and quality is on par with made in US and UK products. The suede and pigskin are very premium feeling. The choice of the 860v2 sole makes for a very comfy all day shoe. The cushioning in the heel takes away impact from your feet. Perfect blend of a fashionable retro upper affixed to a reliable running midsole. Couldn't ask for more.
