I read reviews before hand an upped half a size, but really wish I hadn’t. I think my normal size would have been perfect as there is a little extra room even with big socks.The colour is definitely more of an indigo/ really dark navy in person. Great if that’s what you’re going for, but against blue jeans they look black.Super comfortable and well made.

NB quality is unmatched. Stitching is perfect and the materials used are better than competitors. Comfort is out of this world. Put a lot of miles in these shoes as a heavier person and I never feel fatigued.

I have owned a couple of NB shoes for the last couple of years including the 990v5 Core, however, as a slightly shorter girl, I sometimes found them a tad too big and chunky. The 5740 however is a bit snugger and has a beautiful cut and I am in love! I wear them all the time and they are so easy to dress up and down!

It’s such a stylish design. I am partial to gray so this was right on brand for me lol. They are very comfortable. I love the flat shoelaces and very easy to style. You can pair with a cute pair of jeans or even a cute skirt.
Excellent shoe. I got a regular width but it is not narrow. The fit is great. Comfortable to wear all day. I have been wearing Hokas for the 6 years and it’s nice to be able to change up my shoes. I need shoes with great forefoot protection and these weren’t.
I ordered my true size of 10.5, I usually order all my shoes at 11 because of my wide foot. 10.5 fits perfect and they break in amazingly! But let me tell you, this shoe is as comfortable as can be and a really good running shoe if needed. I raced my nephew wearing these and he stood no chance, none at all, and he's a skinny teenager and I'm over here 31 years old pushing 200 plus lbs. Buy with confidence and run with confidence!
I've been hoping to get into the chunkier trainer type of shoe for a while after wearing a lot of Chuck Taylors and AF1s, and these felt like the perfect balance between stylish and visibly more "dad vibes." I loved the look of them and fell in deeper love with them after putting them on-hands down the most comfortable pair of shoes I own! Will definitely be investing in more shoes like this in the future! I have wide feet so I was nervous about the size, but my standard size (10.5) was perfect!
Cool shoe. Goes with quite a few items in the closet. Really worth the purchase. You can dress them up or down. They are a really versatile shoe.
I took these shoes on vacation as the only pair of shoes that I brought with me and they worked great. They are extremely comfortable - up there with Hoka Cliftons and other extremely comfortable shoes I have owned. They are stylish - especially given that chunky NB sneakers are currently on trend. This gray colorway is neutral and works well with my wardrobe (lots of blue shirts and earth tones). Downsides: the suede scuffs pretty easily and after a week of heavy use, I took out a small piece of the foam mudguard. They still look great but look like they have been worn.
I likes the look of these when i searched. The color of these is great. What really turned me off though was receiving them w/ white laces. In the picture it has grey laces. Not a deal breaker at that point but a little disappointed. When i tried them on they did not fit well . I don't have a thick wide foot, and i just think these are for that type of feet. And they are a heavier sneeker than what i'm used to.
