Originally what attracted me to this model was the similarity to the 2002D model. These are very different but at the same time as comfortable. The material used on this model is amazing. This is a really comfy shoe once I swapped out the insole. The look and comfort that this shoe has is out of this world. My major gripe is that it's hard to get and making these refined future packs so limited is stupid its only fueling the resellers market. Unless new balance is losing money by making these yall should really restock these on the regular.

The comfort is amazing about the same as the 2002r this shoe can do a lot of things in the near future with protection packs and collabs. The materials are just near perfect to what I prefer on a shoe from a different brand but never met the requirements like New Balance do.
Both these and the 2002R pair feel great on feet. Enough room to wear cushioned socks vs. having to wear really thin socks for other brands. I can wear these all day, no complaints. All day comfortable.
Love this model in all its iterations! I do find I like to go up a half size in them, but if you like your shoes to fit a bit more snug true to size will most likely work great for you. The quality and comfort are like you would expect from new balance, never disappointed.
Beautiful shoe. Love the silhouette and colorway. Very comfy. I read somewhere it runs a bit tight so better to go up half a size which I can confirm. I'm a 10.5 usually so I went with size 11 on these and the fit is great.
Love this shoe... fits true to size and suede is amazing quality. I wish they didn't use synthetic leather on a few small parts of the shoe and used a new outsole/midsole for the shoe to give it a more aggressive look. Only part that was bad was the glue they used on suede around the top lace holes isn't strong enough and peels up. It's stitched on so not that big of a deal. Really comfortable for all day and great suede. The designer makes me excited for what he has for the future
Recently purchased the 1906R got both the black and grey regret not getting all the colors for they ended up selling out. They are extremely comfortable, light weight , and the protection pack style is a amazing look. I turned a lot of heads when I had them on.
I love my New Balance 1906Rs, they're really comfortable and they are made with premium materials. I love the design and look it gives me that 2002r protection pack vibe because it uses the same midsole and it has the distressed look.Great purchase overall.
