These are very light shoes. They look and feel, I disdainfully noted the first time putting them on, like a light duty shoe that might tear apart from being strapped on too aggressively, but they are not. I regularly punish my shoes at work by being on my feet all day long. This is one of the most comfortable shoes that I've ever owned. They breath well and look nice too. They are made of an airy fabric, so they are susceptible to getting soaked in the rain. I would buy them again..

This is my 4th pair of Fresh Foam Arishis across multiple 'versions'. I've always loved their style, fit and affordability. Was excited to pick up the v4s on sale for Presidents day. Was VERY DISAPPOINTED to discover, when lacing up, the angel hair pasta shoelaces NB is shipping with these; minus 1 star. I'm not kidding, when tugged on to tighten a loop the lace gets so thin it almost cuts skin as it narrows into a cotton piano wire. Ended up dropping $10 on a decent pair of aftermarket laces that do NOT match the beautiful indigo blue dental floss that shipped. I'm still going to buy NB shoes because of their consistently good build quality and enduring value, but c'mon don't skimp on the laces. I like the shoes, but there is a piece of fabric near the toe box that catches on my toenails dozen or more times per day. I'm hoping this problem goes away as the fabric softens from toenail catches overtime. This problem occurs with socks on. I tried it without socks for a few minutes, and the problem is constant.

I bought these shoes recently and they've proven to be quite comfortable for the price point. They also breathe quite well, which helps in warm climates. They're not the most luxurious or velvety or whatever (which is why they get a 4 and not a 5), but you should know what you're going into buying any shoe that's at a reasonable price. It's nice that they come in a variety of sizes too, since shoe shopping is difficult for me (14 4E).It's a good simple shoe that breathes well, and sometimes that's all you need!
I wear these shoes for work where I stand for 8-12hrs at a time. These shoes are less cushy than some, but the firmness makes me believe they will last a while. They are a good looking shoe and I will certainly buy another pair. The only reason for a less than perfect score is because they are a little firmer than I was hoping nut still offer excellent support.
I use a true 9.5 with every other company I've purchased from but not through NB. The width is especially off. For someone that uses extra wide or 4e this shoe is definitely not wide enough at all. Feels like normal width and not even to be considered wide much less extra wide.
I received my New Balance Arishi’s on the 10/08/23 and not worn them too often, probably 3 times a week over the last 3 months, to walk to work and back, a distance of approximately 2km. They have already worn a hole through on the little toe of the right foot. Not good quality and what I would expect for £79.99.
Been wearing the Arishis for years and years, still have my V1s.Not the usual "glued to your feet" feel that I'm used to with NB which is why I predominantly choose them. My usual size felt a bit big and the heel would slip as I walked. Ordered a half size down and it seems better but now tows are a but cramped.Laces are also cheap and thin but overall decent shoes when got for sale price.
I use the shoes for jogging and walking. They are very comfortable and supportive. My prior worn-out running shoes were actually starting to harm my feet, this instantly stopped with the new shoes. They are very comfy. Best in warm weather, as they are quite breathable. Which is not the best in cold weather.
I have always bought NB shoes, when I can find my size. (12 4E) It seems like quality is out the door anymore. Cheap looking laces, cheap looking material around the eyelets. They are not as comfortable as previous shoes. I hope I at least get 6 months of wear out of them.
