I love my shoes they are very comfortable and they look good on feet. The only issue I found was maybe the price I just think it could be reduced just a tad bit. However I do understand that the shoes are high quality, therefore I am overall satisfied and happy wi the my purchase.

They also look more dingy in person than in photos. However, I can't return them or exchange for a half size down because New Balance hates its customers. For some reason all of Teddy Santis' very mid designs have a no return policy. Is this because people realize his designs aren't that great when they see them or is it because of resellers? Either way, this policy is very dumb and Teddy's work product is not very good.

Great Made in USA quality as usual. One of the better GRs. Love the colors especially with the tan laces. Very comfortable too.
Great comfortable versatile shoes! Love that they’re made in USA. Run about 1/2 size big, following their women to men’s conversion would have been a mistake and these are not exchangeable for some reason.The only thing I’m not crazy about is the terry cloth lining a which is getting kind of dirty - need to figure out how to clean them.
I love everything about this shoe. The silhouette, the colorway, the craftsmanship, the comfort and fitting. I’ve been wearing my pair for a couples weeks now, and I still smile just looking at them. The quality is really good and these shoes look great with just about any outfit and they’re great if you walk a lot throughout the day. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them and I’m really looking forward to trying out other models!
These are some of the best shoes to walk around in! They’re quickly becoming a go to pair because I can match them with anything AND their comfort is unmatched. Like ALL DAY comfort. The energy return in the forefoot is superb. The heel strikes are cushioned. Style + Comfort = SOLID SHOES
I’m a loyal N/B customer who’s only worn 860’s or 1080’s for 20+ years. In fact, I haven’t even tried on a different brand of running shoes during that time. This is my first pair of 990’s and most likely my last! I really want to love these shoes because the style & craftsmanship are fantastic. I would give them 5 stars, but deducted 1 because at the $220 price point, they should have supportive insoles. Instead, they come with a no-name brand “run of the mill” insole that amount to squishy fabric covered foam pads. Of course, I opted for the additional $60 insoles to keep from destroying my feet ($280 Yikes!). Granted, I wasn’t forced to buy these shoes. Ordered my true size 12. The fit and construction is top notch. The lining inside is a really soft almost terry-like fabric. Plenty of room in the toe box. Overall very comfy. Extra laces were a nice bonus. Highly recommend this shoe.
