New Balance NB Numeric 272 Trainers Beige EU 42 Man

The New Balance Numeric 272 is a vulcanized shoe built, unlike anything they’ve made before. The all-new outsole provides an incredible board feel in the forefoot and the vaulted design in the heel works to reduce the dreaded heel bruise. With design cues from some of NB’s classic running silhouettes, the 272 features a clean, one-piece toe that is reinforced for durability, as well as a rubberized heel counter to increase stability.

This shoe is of the heavy variety, keeps your feet nice and warm and is therefore something for the dark season. Also as a street shoe he comes good and can also be quiet times a little damp, without you directly get wet feet. The shoe is quite narrow and therefore looks a little \elegant\ than usual skate shoes.

Excellent sneaker. Well-constructed. Solid fit. I like the throwback style. Color-matched the images online. They are worn on casual occasions and when walking a lot in the city.

Great Silhouette

These shoes are mint! I was in need of replacing my old 331's(which, btw, please bring them back) and was looking for a white/off white shoe again. I generally use NB skate shoes for work because I prefer the sleek design and grip they provide. The only nitpick I have, and the thing that holds it back, are the insoles. Personally I would have chosen FreshFoam inserts like the 331's; they would've complimented these nicely, but I digress.Overall a great shoe in my book!

Great fit, design and feel. Bad grip wear.
21 November 2022

Lack of suede on the ankle is perfect because it would get stiff from sweat. Not too narrow. Had my tricks day 1. Learned a bunch of tricks. Primo not too bad. I don't jump down stuff so no comment on impact. But I wouldn't buy off sale because the bottom is gone. I only ever drag-stop with my heel but somehow my big toe is starting to go through the bottom. I guess just from pushing and lining up for kickflips. That's why I am here, buying another pair on sale. That said, I bought these with new grip tape. Results may vary.

Great looking shoe, but terribly uncomfortable
8 October 2021

These shoes fit true to size and they look good, but as with other NB Numerics I've worn, the toe box, specifically near the joints of my big toe, is too tight. As the shoe flexes, it bites into the joint. I can barely walk in these, much less skate in them. Really disappointing given that I wear a lot of NB lifestyle shoes that are super comfortable. Unfortunately, this is my last NB skate shoe purchase until they can get this right.

Killer Skate Shoes
22 October 2022

When I walked into Texas Roadhouse with my funky fresh black New Balance shoes, a group of Cougars at a table could not keep their eyes off of my manscape. I tried to be polite and just say good morning, but two of them tried to put their number in my hand. As you know, I did not want to disappoint, so I had to tame those two wild animals. See attached pic for the Cougar that got fed a little too well and decided to hang around for sustenance.

Love the shoes. Slightly big

Shoes are super fly. Colorway is fly. Compared to shoes i normally buy in size 12, (vans, nike, etc) i found these to run ever so slightly large, which is no knock. They fit me more comfortable than other 12's have in the past. Copped another pair for the fit alone.

New Balance has done it once again.... Not only do they own the performance, training, and lifestyle shoe market, it looks like they've now decided to branch into and take over skateboarding as well. These not only look and fit great, they are as comfortable as any of the variety of NB's I've owned. Once again, an excellent looking and extremely comfortable pair of shoes. At this point, I really don't expect anything less from New Balance.

Shoes have glue or something at un-boxing
17 October 2022

While unboxing the shoes, a quarter sized spot of glue was on the top of the left shoe near the front. No way was this missed by quality control. I am certain they were only sold to me because I purchased them online. I needed the shoes for a vacation so I kept them and did not return. In the future, I will just return them. I feel like New Balance purposely sent these shoes with the easily visible defect.

Sock like fitting skate shoe with great look
24 May 2023

I chose to try out New Balance skate shoes after using Adidas and Etnies shoes for years. This is due to the nature of NB shoes being thinner by fit, I wanted the shoes to last me first a period of walking in them. I always use the size 42 EU / 9 US / 27 cm in Adidas and Etnies, but these shoes were indeed a slimmer fit in the beginning. Now I have started to use them for skating after walking 3 months in them and they still have a rather great form.I have skateboarded and snowskated in these shoes for few weeks now. These shoes have the perfect vulcanized flick but do not lose their grip so fast. The Ortholite insole is surprisingly comfortable as I am used to them from my Nitro snowboarding boots. These shoes have the perfect vulcanized flick but do not lose their grip so fast. The Ortholite insole is surprisingly comfortable as I am used to them from my Nitro snowboarding boots. Compared to Adidas and Etnies I found these shoes to be more of true perfect fit and for New Balance shoes just a bit more wide than some other models I have tried from them. I have somewhat wide foot any way. The heel has a good grip for heelflips because of the vulcanized part. My opinion for impact protection: 3.5/5.0.I chose the shoes for the colourway and look and I have enjoyed them skating quite a lot. My only problem is that they are somewhat expensive, but this is due to their more tech vulcanized construction that is a try of having the best of a vulcanized shoe and a cupsole shoe.
