Great boot and very well made. I have these in another color scheme as well. I bought these in the same size but they were a little bigger. Not sure why. But they are wonderful, comfortable and look great for a smart, casual look. Nice and neat!

I should have read the reviews before I bought. These are advertised as retro hiking boots. These are hiking shoes in name only, and that’s probably what they were designed as. The tongue is paper thin and the laces gouge the top of your feet. The shoes are very uncomfortable, my feet started hurting about 30 minutes after I start wearing them. I’ll probably still wear them at times I’m only going to be out for a little while, they are pretty sharp looking.

Just got home from a 2.5 + hike at Starved Rock State Park. These are legit. Waterproof and comfy. We’ll add as I don’t need to be weighed down by boot. Helped my hike go pretty smooth! Did not slip or anything. Good fit too! If these were exactly true to size my toes would’ve hurt. I’m VERY pleased.
New Balance is getting into a habit of not providing Wide sizes on their shoes. There wide stance and wider toe box is what helped build the brand. Now all the loyal customers of the past decades are being excluded from new releases and renewed classics such as this shoe.
Had to return. They run large so I recommend ordering a size down. The materials were high quality but in my try-on the toe box bent heavily from being oversized and generally was an awkward fit. I cannot comment on how it would have felt to walk distance as this was simply inside trying them on and they were too large. Almost every other NB product fits true to size or close to it but these were like I had ordered a size up. Colors are just like the pictures.
These are so darn cute. However, the pair I got is VERY NARROW. I have a lot of New Balance and these are almost an inch narrower (which is a lot). I literally couldn't even get my foot in.
These are a great reissue! The look is really vintage in a good way, and they're surprisingly comfortable--I was worried about them being too narrow, and I even remember a pair I had 20 years ago being uncomfortable, but I threw my Superfeet insoles in them (use these for all my shoes) and no complaints. I'm a 12 and they fit TTS. Plenty of room, even with full-length insoles, but not too big IMO. I think the wedge sole helps with comfort too. Bought 'em for the city, but think you could totally hike in them.
I gave this shoe a 5 star because the way it looks the color and the softness of the shoe but I recommend to go down a size because it do run big. I got so many compliments. To as we're I bought these.
