I bought these a month ago and they great to begin with, but I walked with them on a rainy day and the fabric absorbed the dirt to the point they turned an irreversible grey. I know white trainers don’t stay white but with these it almost looks like the water set off a off-whitening chemical reaction. It’s been impossible to clean them. Just buy somewhere else

These trainers are true to size and fit very nicely. It can sometimes be difficult to find comfortable shoes that look good but these new balances do both very well.

These trainers are true to size and fit very nicely. It can sometimes be difficult to find comfortable shoes that look good but these new balances do both very well.
These are not Leather! They are Cnvas material and not as practical as the traditional 550s. the Colorway is perfect clean and fresh addtion to a wardrobe if having a canvas shoe is not an issue.
I am a sucker for a gum sole and found these in my size! These are the only 505s I have seen with a gum sole so I’m very happy I got these and ask very comfortable shoes. However, the get dirty very quickly and the fabric material is not the easiest to clean.
They look good if you are after a pair of white canvas trainers however they are not all leather as the product description says. The upper part of the shoe is all canvas.
I'm a 9.5, just under the wide mark. I got a 9.5, standard width, in these (BB550PWB) and they fit almost perfectly but definitely wearable. They fit a little long for me while everything else feels normal... I might be able to go down half a size, but worried that my semi-wide foot would fit too snugly in a size 9. I'd rather have a little more room than have it too snug, even if I have to wear thicker socks or tie the shoelaces tighter. If I try to wear them with loose laces, my heel slips. For reference, I stay true to size (9.5, standard width) with the 992, 997, 2002r, 5740; TTS, wide width with 574's... all fit perfectly snug, but not too snug, on my feet. I didn't get to try on the 550s in person, took a chance online based on how my other NBs fit, and I'm pretty happy with them the way they are.
Was looking for a new chunky white leather pair of trainers for day-to-day. Seen this style a lot on insta in different colour ways, so was thought all white would be perfect. Except they are not white leather, they are assort of thick canvas material (like a chunky converse material). V odd/unexpected, and not easily spotted from the product photos.
The whole shoe is fabric which isn’t shown well in the the pictures. Had to return as they would’ve been dirty within a few wears
I loved the style and design of the shoe but it runs terribly small. I was able to get my foot in the shoe but after a day of walking around my feet were throbbing with pain. It was a combination of the shoe being stiff and uncomfortable and the size being too small. For context, I wear size 3 in Nike and Adidas and have never had an issue.
