These shoes are excellent. I have owned multiple pairs of new balance shoes (515, 997H, 574) and the quality on these doesn't even compare. The suede on my 996 are so buttery and comfortable, and I have found these to be my new go to shoes for any occasion.

These are my first 996s after many years of wearing 574s. After wearing these for a week, I really like them and may have become a 996 "convert." The 996s feel better on the front parts of my feet. I'm normally a size 101/2, but went up to an 11 on this order on the advice of other reviewers. I think it was the best choice.
I bought this shoe for my niece. It's a school shoe. Great deal and a good value. She is not hard on shoes so it will last her all school year. She wears boots in the winter and carries them to school for gym. She does not have foot problems and it's a comfortable fit.
Really nice looking, well constructed, quality materials. Love the suede and the dark green color is really unique and looks good with most things. Unfortunately I found the sizing to be small. I generally wear a 10.5-11 is most brands. Purchased this shoe in an 11 and really wished I would have done 11.5 or 12. Feels about a half to a full size too small, especially in the toe box width and height dimensions. Regardless, I will wear these shoes because they look great and will pair them with the thinnest socks to make the ride more comfortable. Nice product.
The photo doesn't do this sneaker justice. They look better, in person. Not too many changes, from the original model, of the 80's. Thec suede is smooth, and they have a great, comfy fit. Hoping more colors are released. These are DOPE!
Very comfortable shoes. Classic retro style and the color combo makes it very modern looking as well. Material is soft. Hope these shoes will last long.
I purchased these shoes as a comfort option to go with any outfit. They are very comfortable and lightweight. The material inside and out is soft and flexible yet supportive. One callout is the depth the ankle outline dips to was lower than expected. Standard ankle socks do show a good amount. Overall they are very comfortable and the simple light grey (almost silver), white and black allows these to be worn with any outfit.
