I purchased these shoes prior to leaving for an upcoming trip, and they were such a good investment. I was walking at least 5-10 miles every day through uneven surfaces, and in the evenings, only had minimal discomfort after being on my feet all day. I treated these with weatherproofing spray before wearing them so that the suede portions would be a little more protected, and there was no discoloration or unwanted effects. Overall, I am really glad I purchased these; they are such a classic style and are very comfortable, which is a great combination. I need a wider toe box in my shoes, so I ordered the wide in my normal size because I often find that medium widths are too narrow, and they were the perfect size, with no rubbing or discomfort.

The structure now has a very thin tongue with inside seams that aren't smooth, thus it rubs on your foot causing irritation. NB. Also narrowed not only the bottom outsole on the heal part, but also the shoe itself, so my toes were squeezed into a smaller toe bed and it causes discomfort. I have worn this classic style 574 shoe for years. I recently ordered the new 574 online in 9 B, my usual size, because they are so hard to find in stores. Unfortunately, the fit was way too tight. I don't think my feet have changed, and I tried comparing the width of the soles of the new shoes to the old. The old ones do look a bit wider to my eye. Anyway, my feet felt like the blood flow was going to be very constricted in the new shoes. They felt so uncomfortable. I'm really sad I couldn't keep the shoes. Am I the only one who thinks the shoes are running shorter and narrower these days???
I'm a size 7.5, and these shoes are true to size! I needed a new pair of white sneakers, and I'm very happy with how these look! They're exactly as pictured, and shipped so quickly. I work in a cafe, and have to stand on my feet for long periods of time. The shoes are not only extremely comfortable, but have a cushioning aspect that give my feet support. The shoe also gives me a bit of height too, which is always nice :)I've only worn thinner socks with these, since it's summertime, so I'm not sure how these sneakers will feel with a slightly thicker sock. But for right now, I'm very happy with my purchase!
i read the reviews and listened. i sized up by a 1/2. shouldve sized an entire size up. im a size 8, i got 8 1/2. shouldve gotten a size 9. they run small in length, the width is just fine. honestly, i feel like with the size up, i got more width in the shoe rather than length. idk. its sized weird. but otherwise, i put in my orthopedic insoles and it feels like im walking on clouds- i wear these at work. but truly, my big toe starts hurting because its like right there on the tip of the shoe. then it makes me arch feel really stiff. shouldve returned it or exchanged it, but i didnt have a replacement pair for my job to wear in the meantime and didnt wanna deal with the hassle. but truly, other than the sizing issue, these shoes wouldve been amazing, and i still ... Although there is no warning on the New Balance site, these shoes are AT LEAST a half size smaller in the way they fit compared to the 880's. A lot of my time wasted on this order & the return. . I think customers deserve a sizing chart comparing the differences in sizing of the different models. Then, at the very least, the customer is informed BEFORE they place their order. Very disappointed after this experience. If this chart already exists then it needs to be placed in a more prominent ... These are gorgeous! I love the style and the colour and to get them in the sale was a steal as they aren't an unpopular style.However, I have normal width feet and wear a size 6 in every shoe but after reading the reviews I ordered a 7 and I am so glad I did! They are just weirdly sized wrong. I almost got a 6.5 but even that would have been too small. Kind of odd but just go a full size up and you'll be grand.I wore these camping/hiking right after buying and the heel is a bit tough. I recommend stepping on it for a little while to soften it up.Only negative here is that the laces are cheap looking/feeling so I may replace them.
Ughh I really really wanted to like these as I have been eyeing them for awhile now. After reading the reviews, I purchased the Nimbus Cloud w White in both my usual shoe size in 7 and also 7.5 (incase they really did run small). When they arrived, I noticed the suede was a slightly different shade from one another. The size 7 pair was slightly darker than 7.5. Also the material of the suede on one pair was a smooth, soft finish while the other pair had a rough suede finish. As for the fit, the size 7 was snug.. My big toe was touching the front of the shoe while the 7.5 was just too big! I'm super bummed to have to return both pairs as these would've been my first pair of New Balance shoes. ☹️
In fact, this is my very first New Balance shoes. I wear sneakers everyday, and usually those are other famous brands because they have more city-like designs, but this time, I decided to give New Balance a try since so many people praise NB.I found the color that I really like, and when I put them on for the first time, I was shocked! They are so soft, light, and comfortable. Since then, I wear almost everyday. The shoes have wider toe space which makes it very comfortable. The size is a bit on the smaller side, so I'm glad I picked one size bigger than my usual.I know I will keep buying this same pair over and over for the rest of my life!Thank you!
