Love these, but, and this is an ASOS issue not a New Balance issue. On the tongue of NB trainers there is a code, that code corresponds to the width of the shoe, telling you if you have about half an inch difference in the back of the shoe. I bought these and they felt slightly bigger than my last pair I bought from ASOS, sure enough they’re a half inch bigger around the heel of my foot-ASOS should state in the description if they’re wide footed or not, and not just put them all up as standard fit. I always size up in new balance because they’re generally too small, but I could have stuck to my original size with these 327’s-even though my last pair of 327’s that I bought from ASOS were exactly the same and fit perfectly. Wore them for the first time and had 3 people comment how cute they were within an hour. So adorable and affordable. New Balance is the best brand. These are comfy and a great fit as always. The area where they taper in the middle of your foot makes a little noise when walking. Not enough to not buy, but noticeable. I am concerned that the trim in the shoe is going to wear and then become a different look since it won't match the other part of the material that makes up the shoe. Time will tell, just a fantastic in style shoe that is comfortable. If on the fence, go for it! The comfort aspect is worth it and then add the fashionable aspect and it's a great purchase.

ASOS originally shipped me the MEN'S size instead of the women's size, which was way too big. I reordered a smaller MEN's size and they shipped me the women's size, which was way too small. I reordered yet again in the women's size and they sent me a men's size. So I ordered this shoe 3 times and never received the right size from ASOS. I chatted with customer service and they offered no help and do not do exchanges, so I give up. If you want the right size, you should probably order from another website OR order 2 pair - one in the women's size that you need and one in the men's size that you need...that way hopefully one pair would be the right size and you could return the other. I ordered the gray in my usual 8.5 size. The shoes look even better in person. The tread looks like solid octopus tentacles; it flows up the back of the square heel, giving a cool unique look to the shoes. Unfortunately I have to send them back and hope a size 9 will be better. Unless you have a very narrow forefoot, order a 1/2 size up. I have a normal width foot yet my toes are numbing slightly after having the shoes on around the house due to how narrow the front is. I felt this as soon as I slipped my foot in the first time, before even lacing them up. Looking at the pictures, you can see how much the shoes taper in. I heard so many good things about this shoe, and I was so excited to try them when the price dropped. Overall, I was disappointed. Other reviews note the strange material, so that wasn’t a shock. The material does look cheap, and I wonder how it’d wear over time & how to keep clean. The saddest part - these rubbed blisters on the backs of my ankles after 15 minutes! Sadly they’re going back. I gave 2 stars because the color combo is nice and the soles are comfy.
I have loved NB trainers for years... And have many a pair. So trust I'm getting what I like when I buy NB which is style and sass and shape. These looked perfect on the pictures on the website. Rounded toe and shape and sturdy design. Unfortunately, when they arrived, they had a pointed toe. And very angular. Not rounded. So the overall style didn't look great. Sent back.....
These are a suedy type of material (possibly actual suede- I no longer have the box to check!) Just to be sure- because these are NOT for the rain (if the white sole didn't already tell you this!) They are really comfy on, not the type for running, more fashion which is perfect because I wear these every day for walking, moving around and general city life. They're too heavy to go sprinting about and IME not flexible enough for things like gym aerobics or similar. They do have a mesh in the breaks between the suede parts, but I still would reserve them for cooler weather. The first time I ordered them I got my regular size (6.5 US women's), they were a little too tight, so I decided to get size 7 US instead. I placed an order for size 7 US and received size 7 US Men's. My third order is out for delivery today, let's see what they sent this time. Talking to Customer Support didn't help at all, I asked if someone can tell me whether I should follow Men's or Women's size chart and received a very generic answer saying 'We're sorry it didn't work for you, send them back to get a refund'. Previous reviewer says "runs large". I do not agree. I believe it depends on the width of your foot. I have wide feet. My usual size is 8. Since I did not have experience with New Balance shoes, I ordered both 8 and 8.5. Size 8 was a definite no go, my toes were hitting front of shoe. Surprisingly the 8.5 was still snug (width wise), toes were better. I sized up a full size to 9 to best accommodate my feet (boo for bunions!) 9 was perfect! White and zebra stripe is a fantastic neutral. If you have wide feet, consider ordering several sizes. Luckily New Balance return policy made the online shopping experience easy.
I haven’t worn NB in so long, but when I saw this moonbeam shoe. I bought it. I want to like it but it’s not comfortable.1. Narrow toe box. I loosen the laces & wore it multiple times to stretch it. Still tight2. With now loosen laces, the shoe feels wide & loose in the opening & laces are to short to tighten. Feels like slipping off while walking.3. The “dotted” soles need some getting used to while walking.I want to like it. Maybe if they have my size in men’s, I’ll exchange them.
