We went to the new Nordstrom Rack in Yakima ;) and it was so much fun! Displayed even better than those on the Wet Side (Seattle). The shoe selection, however wasn’t as good. More options would be great! Otherwise, it was really organized and I did find a pair of tennis shoes (was looking for boots). The reason I come here is that the cashier was extraordinary. Jose had pronouns on his apron and I noticed him representing human rights. I then complemented his adorable BLM pin. He literally offered it to me. I was so honored that he shared it with this white woman and will treasure it. Fantastic job hiring him! Keep him and give him a raise, he deserves it ;) ! We love Nordstrom Rack!

I bought these at the beginning of summer as my first running shoe & I absolutely love them. They’re comfortable to run & walk in. I bought gel inserts for more support and to lighten the blow on my heels when I run. The color of these are nice as it goes with most of my gym outfits. The only thing I wish they had was more insole support inside the shoe but as far as running they’re super comfortable & lightweight. I’ll definitely buy these again for running. The price of them aren’t too bad either. Most other running shoes are very expensive. I’m a 6.5 and I got my size & they fit perfect.

Since I’ve had surgery on my foot, I am limited in the kind of shoes that I can wear. I normally buy the 1080s, but I wanted to try something else and the Arishi v4 did not disappoint. I normally get extra wide, but the Arishi v4 don’t come in that width, so I sized up a half size and got the wide. I am so glad they’re comfortable. I wish New Balance offered more color ways in the wider widths however for ALL of their shoes. My choices are very limited, which is unfortunate because the shoes are so comfortable.

I have older pairs of these shoes in different colors, and wondered if there would be any changes in this newer pair. Thankfully, they are as comfortable as expected. I ordered up one size, as they are a bit narrow for me. If your foot is not wide, your regular size should do. I sprayed waterproof on them, and the white trim always looks new. I also use a heal cup because of foot issues, so this gives an already-comfortable platform a little extra bounce. The only complaint I have about these shoes are that the laces are way too long in every pair I own. Short of buying new laces, or trying a fancy technique, they are hard to keep tied. Otherwise, these are excellent.
I wanted a cute black pair of comfortable tennis shoes with arch support. Thought in reading other reviews and info that they had support but I must have mis read the info . I prefer to purchase in a store to check for arch support but haven’t been able to find something I like in store so I tried ordering online . They are very cute shoes and feel cushiony but there is no arch support and the lining is just a thin lining that leaves my feet aching after wearing for few hours . Looking for an arch support insert which hoping will help . Myself I don’t plan purchasing again .

The shoe itself is very comfortable and light. I can wear them for hours with no pain. The issue for me is the cheap shoe laces. They're made of synthetic fiber and I feel like I'm going to snap them whenever I tie my shoes. Not only that, but they are constantly coming untied when I'm out walking, but when ever I come home and want to untie them, they tangle themselves into a tight knot that takes minutes to unravel. The shoes are great, but if you buy them, do yourself a favor and immediately replace the laces with some better quality ones. Or better yet, New Balance, do some R & D into shoelaces that aren't so awful.
New Balance are allegedly one of the best trainer manufacturers on the market. Their prices reflect that. I certainly always believed that. Until I purchased these trainers. After extensive research on what trainers to buy for my work, which involves standing for a long time and 14 hour shifts, I decided to buy these. Worst purchase ever.To quote "New Balance Response 1.0 performance insert for additional padding and supportFresh Foam midsole provides lightweight cushioning"These trainers offer no support. They certainly dont have arch support. They look cheap. The laces arent much better. Very thin. Dont feel rebust enough to tie tightly.I will never buy New Balance trainers again
I purchased this shoe a couple of weeks ago and have worn them maybe 5 times. They are very comfortable for walking. I have not used them for running as I have Brooks shoes I usually use for running. I have wider feet and the front of the shoe has a lot of wiggle room. My only complaint is the front of the show where the fabric meets the rubber at the toe is already slightly frayed. I would expect the shoes to hold up a bit better than that for only wearing them a few times.
Do not like the new toe reinforcement! The cardboard like reinforcement that they have built in over your toes is AWFUL! I've worn this same tennis shoe for over 5 years and I am heart broken with this change. I have knee issues and love the Fresh Foam Arishi, but I am afraid I'm going to have to go back to the drawing board if they don't take this out. It rubs on your toe and toe nails and no I don't have dragon toe nails, they are nicely manicured and short and it still bothers me. Please take it OUT!
