My new favorite pair of shoes! I swear I've been wearing them 5 days a week since I received them. They're super cute w a pair of beige/cream pants and green top. Pretty much wear them to the gym every time I go now. Had to break them in (pinky toe was a lil smushed for a few days), but I've probably walked around 150 miles in them so far. Grip is great for weight training. Only complaint is that the heel is a lil boxy/chunky so I had to get used to not stepping on them.

Materials feel top quality. I especially like that they used Gore-Tex/Canvas/Cordura. Love the Retro-Futuristic aesthetic. Also really appreciate the minimalistic branding on it. Comfort, I'd rate it a 4/5. Maybe the rating will go up once they break in a little bit. Product seems priced right at about $100. I got them in the black/magnet colorway. I love them.

This is my 3rd pair of XC-72! They are extremely comfortable and only shoe that gave me comfort when I had plantar fasciatis. Always get compliments when I wear these outside and Joe's outlet saved me about $30 when other stores are selling same shoe for about $70 more. Thanks for savings and fast shipping. Bought one pair for me and one for family, since I was saving so much money!

I have to be honest, I never heard of this website until I searched for these particular shoes. I was skeptical ordering from them due to the name alone. But my mind was quickly put at ease with legit checkout process, great communication and prompt shipping! I'll order again. The shoes themselves are comfortable quality I expect from New Balance. And they look awesome on me, thank you very much. I bought the all-black XC-72s.
These things (XC-72) are great to look at and look great on feet. Fit is true to size which means it's the same size I am in most Nike and Adidas sneakers. I haven't worn them for long but so far so good on comfort. Great to see new balance making models like this and the 327s. Some reviewers complain a lot about colors bleeding from the different colors and materials in these shoes or about discoloration in the sole-not an issue at all. New balance enclosed a slip of paper with some tips to prevent bleeding of colors when shoes get wet. But really, lots of people just complain too much about little things. And Joe's New Balance Outlet always comes through! Great website, timely emails, and quick shipping. Not to mention the often amazing prices and free shipping.
These shoes looked great in the photo. When they arrived, the heel was a huge square shape that was really bulky and dangerous to walk in. I cannot recommend these shoes. The advertising and photos are deceiving and do not accurately reflect the enormity of the heel on the product. In addition, when I returned the shoes, NEW BALANCE DOES NOT PAY RETURN SHIPPING, EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT SATISFIED WITH THE ORDER. They claim this is to keep costs low, but if they are spending such a large amount on return shipping that it offsets their retail prices, are they really a quality brand? Seems more like they're cutting corners as much as possible to reduce their own overhead. PLEASE BE AWARE - YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY RETURN SHIPPING YOURSELF. I cannot recommend shopping with ANY ... I cannot recommend shopping with ANY New Balance online retailer for this reason. If you must buy New Balance, go to a brick & mortar and have a place that will accept returns. No company should be charging for dissatisfaction. If I could have given this company a Zero-Star rating, I would have.
I usually wear a 9.5, or a 10 in some shoes. Went up to 10.5 in these since the toe box is so narrow, and they fit great. Unfortunately they showed up with scuffs on the back heel (returned the first pair for this, second pair same issues), and the right shoe has a different cut in the rubber of the side of the tread from the left, making a gap where you can see the inner foam instead of the outer layer of the rubber part of the shoe. That polyester strip in the middle of the shoe is never even between the two shoes, and they always have a wrinkle, or color stain on one. You can see glue in multiple spots on the outside of the shoe. They look nothing like the pictures. Very cool design, and they still look good from far away but I'm really bummed with the ... I think they tried to do too much with this design, and it's just not so easy to mass produce.
This is my first foray into the dad shoe market, and I gotta tell you it's pretty nice. Really comfortable. I stand at a desk for work and these are way nicer than my other shoes. Nice and grippy for bursts of spontaneous activity. Being born in the year of the tiger and needing new shoes I felt obligated to get these. They look very rugged, but I'm worried bit by bit it'll start to break down due to my active lifestyle. I can foresee the tread knobs ripping off if I'm not careful. I'm also worried that the platform under the heel ( I don't know shoe lingo) will start to get very flexible and promote pronation which is already and issue for me.A stray thread or two, which I wouldn't expect to find on a shoe at this price point. I wish the fabric on the toe better lined up with the orange stripe that runs from the toe down the center of the sole. Some visible adhesive which again I didn't expect to see at this level of shoe. Overall I am very happy with the comfort and unique look of this shoe and I'm excited to put them through their paces.
You can see the yellow foam in the Tongue of the shoe! what cheap poor quality! They did not have enough fabric to cover the entire shoe tongue? they really always run out of the made in the usa shoes in womens sizes and these got so great of reviews I ordered two. Both had the exposed foam in the tongue of the shoe and both were too big because I require a women' 6.5 which ...no to this for that...also no arch support. Why do these get such good reviews I can't even understand it. I bought two of these and tried them both on hoping one would work and neither did. I returned both on the same day and both were delivered to the new balance website on the same day, however, I only received a refund for ONE pair and not the other yesterday. i called several times there ... Opposite of integrity no emails for new balance exist on this website. Also I tried to find emails on the web and all the emails I could find for the new balance company were bounce back to me because they don't function. You also can't track a return on their website like the voicemail says...you can on'y track an order or get a refund label. It seems like they do not care about their customers and their quality has really went down. This used to be a good company. I remember going to a shoe store and getting my very first pair of new balance shoes when I was like 13. Those were great shoes back then....totally a different situation now. Only one kind they have is of any value to me and it is always sold out and those are the made in the usa ones. I have no idea how to get my refund been on hold for an eternity. I loathe this. Guess I will have to um....dispute it with PayPal.
