Low profile road caps in my size can be hard to find on even the Tigers own site. They have them at Vintage Detroit! I had mine mailed. It arrived in a week packed well in a small box. New Era caps don't all fit the same so there is some risk. I couldn't be happier.

I looked everywhere for this hat. Only Dick’s Sporting Goods had it. I ordered it I received it quickly. DSG always comes through.
Bought this online because it said Country of Origin: United States, as opposed to others that said "Imported" (made in China). Hat arrived and the tag said Made in China. There is a huge difference in the way these New Era hats fit my head. The ones made in the USA are the only ones that fit true to form both frontwards and backwards for me personally but other people may prefer the imported ones. But I returned it to my nearest DSG with no issues as they always have great customer service. I always buy everything from DSG and will continue to do so, just not fitted hats.
Detroit has one of the most recognizable and iconic logos in baseball. Its a global recognized brand, the small silhouetted D was classic Detroit. I have to believe if Mike Ilitch wanted a different size logo on the hat, he'd have done it. New Era had made Detroit hats in the past with the oversized, even two tone D and only herbs wore them. You'd always find the oversized D hats on clearance and NOW THATS OUR EVERYDAY hat? I guarantee hat sales are down, leaving 36 year fans and an every day hat wearer scrambling to buy as many of the older (small logo) hats I can find.
