We live on a property and our dogs are always running around in the bush. my 4 year old Staffy ( harvey ) has always been too smart for taking tablets even when crushed into favorite food but with this Nexgard which I have had him on for the last 6 months is so easy to give to him as a treat. I just excite him into to thinking he is getting a treat, tell him to sit then through it to him and its down the smacker no props. Love this product as it works . no fleas or ticks on my Harvey Boy. I have been using another well known product for 8 years and started having a huge flea problem. We even used it fortnightly which our vet told us you should only have to sue it monthly. One of my poor little girls had such a problem scratching all the time that she lost huge chunks of her fur and look "patchy". We changed to Nexgard and saw a change almost immediately. She is not scratching furiously all the time and I can see a regrowth in her fur, thankfully. I wonder if sometimes animals build up a tolerance to the one flea treatment?

Whilst baby sitting a friends princess, who does not have fleas.. uncounted literally hundreds. Mortified I consulted the dogs vet who subscribed NexGuard, new product and all. I conned the princess to chew and counted the next (8) hours. By morning dead fleas. Of course the cycle will take a while to break but dead fleas is good. A bath every 2 days gets rid of dead ones and helps rid of eggs, and voila no fleas scurrying. A product I will in future stock especially Autumn flea time.
This product has safely protected my 3 dogs for the last few years. As I live on the NSW South Coast some deaths are recorded each year with unprotected dogs due to the paralysis ticks prevalent in this part of Australia--a nasty death by asphyxiation. If you buy 6 or 12 packs I suggest you check before buying that the 'use by date' covers the one tablet a month period. Have two dogs around 20kgs?---buy the 25-50kg size and give the half each.
I love the chews for my big boy a bull Arab X. I won't use the spot-ons anymore. It would be too difficult with his thick coat. Nexgard is a great product.
Abby happily eats her monthly tablet so it must taste good. Got to love prevention rather than treatment.
The last batch I bought wasnt value for money because I received 3 chewable for the price of $73. Previous time I bought the same nexgard chewables I got 6 chewable for $73. So this last batch I bought wasnt value for money. But My dog loves the chewables and eats them easily. They work too as he never has fleas.
Have used these products for many years on my 2 dogs. Recommended by my vets. Have had no problems, with worms, ticks etc
I recently tried Nexgard with my cavoodle for the first time, having switched from a well known top-spot treatment which I've been persevering with for too long with no results. Finally the fleas are gone and she has stopped itching. The top-spot just wasn't working at all. Within a day of giving her a Nexgard chew I noticed a difference in her scratching far less, and she hasn't had a flea on her since. The flea allergy dermatitis on her skin quickly cleared up too. She loved the taste of the chew (and she's a very fussy dog). Thrilled with this product, and I have a very happy pooch now.
