Completely water proof, proper toe protection and comfortable while hiking in rough terrain. But the thread wears off fast, not suitable for climbing wet rocky trails and chances of foot rolling are high as well. For this price range needs more durability.

LOOOOOVE these shoes! Super comfortable when walking/stepping. The look of them are right up my alley & even got compliments from random people. Even the reflectiveness in the dark...is an added feature/reason why I purchased. I had my eye on them for some time, so I knew I wanted them was going to get them!

I’m super stoked to be able to get a pair of the newly released clay green colorway! Last year, I wasn’t very lucky to get the khaki and black ones. I had to resort to other retailers for them. They were sold out immediately on Nike’s website. I’ve read other reviews saying these run snug and should go up half a size, but unless you have very wide feet, I’d suggest staying true to size. I now have the mid and low top version of mountainfly in my collection for both summer and winter period.

Good for everyday use if you live somewhere muddy or rainy, but I wouldn’t recommend them for long hiking trails. When you walk on the side of a hill it’s unstable. They are easy to clean and once again have good support in casual everyday use or short walks.
I’ve been wearing these for about a week now and have tested them in various conditions (snow, ice, mud, wet). The shoe has proved to be waterproof below the upper seam and also quite warm. Traction is nice, however the outsole is better suited for trails, not the pavement.Cushioning is fine, you definitely feel that there’s a carbon fiber plate inside, so it can be unusual at first, but is comfortable though and protects your feet from rocks and roots.Don’t be confused by other reviews, the shoe is true to size, but the fit is quite snug, especially in the toe box area. Heel slip is somewhat an issue, though it’s okay, if you tighten up the lacing loops.Overall the shoe is great for cold season trekking and does well in a city landscape too. Highly recommend ... MoreI’ve been wearing these for about a week now and have tested them in various conditions (snow, ice, mud, wet). The shoe has proved to be waterproof below the upper seam and also quite warm. Really, really tough to get on. I went a size up. Normally 10.0. Bought 10.5. Granted I’m also wearing them for river hiking with neoprene socks. They’re just nearly impossible to get on. One I get them on, however, they really comfortable. The heel does slip some, but the rest of the shoe is truly like a glove.
Awesome Hiking ShoeI went with my normal size fit and they are a bit snug but I truly believe they’re supposed to fit that way since I did not experience heel slip like other reviewers. For those with wide feet like myself I think you will be fine with your regular size.Walking dirt trails with a few creek crossings these shoes performed amazingly. Outer sole provides the traction needed on steep dirt hills, and clear pebble full creeks. The gore-tex upper was waterproof as described. The overall comfort of the shoe was great given it’s purpose and intended environmentsIf you’re on the fence about these, don’t be. Buy em and hiking will be all you look forward to
I really wanted to like these shoes. I ordered several sizes to see if I could make it work but it just doesn't.I absolutely love how they look. But they just don't fit.I usually wear either a size 11 or 10.5. Since people were saying they were running on the smaller end, I purchased the 11 first. They actually fit pretty well, except for the heel. As other have brought up in the comments, these shoes have 0 heel support.I figured maybe the shoes were too big. After all, they're supposed to be hiking-ish shoes, which means they're supposed to be snug. So I bought the 10.5. Now they're too small. I actually struggle putting them in. And I think they would hurt my feet in the long run (or maybe they would loosen given time) but somehow... the heel is still ... MoreI really wanted to like these shoes.
