Looks and performs well. Although not as good as the 2014 model, so far the second most comfortable NIKEs I've owned. The best and most favorite pair are the 2014 Flykinit 4.0's. This years model's forefoot is a bit narrower and the uppers are not as sturdy compared to last years. It does look good though. I have wide feet and these 4.0s are the only NIKEs I can wear. Fits like a sock!

I bought this shoe for my husband who suffers from foot and heel issues. He absolutely loved the fit, the comfort and the look. I have purchased the shoe in 3 colors for myself after my daughter convinced me to invest in a pair of FlyKnits. After seeing a man wearing them while we were on vacation, I asked my husband if he would like to try them. He talked to the man wearing them who also gave the shoe a glowing review. If you want a light, comfortable, supportive running/walking shoe, you will love this one!

Write your review Being an owner of the Mountain Fly "High" this one is surprisingly more stable than those. Perhaps due to the lacing system but I have conducted a 8-mile hike in them with a 2,800 elevation gain here in the San Diego mountains and they perform quite well. The carbon-plate inside the react sole give great energy return, especially when you decide to take them for a run while on the trail. Scrambling on and over rocks, not a problem! Traction is great, no slipping or tipping on fo-fo's. Not Goretex like the highs but I appreciate this for being able to breathe as it is heating up and my dogs need that good air.here.

Unlike any other pair on my rack…futuristic, cutting-edge look while providing complete functionality. Got myself a pair, along with wife and son! That great of a shoe! Head turner for sure! Bungy laces aren’t too tight over top of foot; actually very good fit.
Extremely comfortable, durable, and stylish. You really can't say enough good things about the Fly-Low and now we have a vibrant new colorway! I've used mine for running, trails, kayaking. Would love to climb a steep mountain or volcano and test the sticky rubber.
Picked up a pair of these just in time for my holiday in Tuscany.Used them most days through two weeks, up to 20 miles per day.Absolutely perfect for dirt and gravel tracks. The hugely spongy soles mean that you can tramp on even large jagged stones and feel nothing at all. Like my previous Hoka’s, but even better (did not believe it was possible). The mesh uppers mean cool feet (even walking all in hot temperatures).Would not recommend to use these on technical rocky scrambles or very steep loose surfaces, because:1) the benefit of the soles (isolation) results in a lack of feel of what is going on underfoot.2) the mesh uppers do not provide torsional rigidity (feet move too much, slide forward on steep descents) compared to leather/suede uppers.Laces come ... MorePicked up a pair of these just in time for my holiday in Tuscany.Used them most days through two weeks, up to 20 miles per day.Absolutely perfect for dirt and gravel tracks. Reached out to customer service about these cause they just looked like the run small. They said buy my regular size. Should have sized up. My feet aren't particularly wide but these feel SO tight i can feel my toes rubbing and and there is no room for them in the toe box. Very narrow and tapered toe. Sad cause I love them.
I had high hopes for these shoes. Yes, they looked cool, but I was more interested in how they would perform in the wild. They arrived on 7/1 and I took them out for a five mile hike on 7/2. The first half of the hike was okay. The shoes are very comfortable after the initial break in period...Lots of cushion and spring in the ride. Once the hike started to get steep with uneven ground, that's when the shoes really began to show their warts. There is little to no lateral stability. With the Fly Knit uppers and the large amount of wide cushioning, my feet were sliding out over the edge of the soles. Definitely not something you want in a hiking or trail running shoe. Keep in mind, this was on dry dirt. These may be fine for looking like rugged outdoor shoes, but Nike really missed the mark on these. They're fine for perfectly flat trails, but any trail with incline/decline/undulations, be warned...your feet will be all over the place. If I could return these after wearing, I would. These shoes will not be worn for their intended use. I'm giving them two stars just for the cool factor. Otherwise, I would give one star.
Got these in the mail yesterday and absolutely obsessed! FITS TRUE TO SIZE.There are a lot of variables that go in to the perfect hiking shoe compatibility, so for reference:- I have high arches- prefer wider toe space- Shoe Size: W's 6.5 (ordered Size 5)(Sometimes shoes are designated as gender neutral but still lean more geared for men). Not the case here. The "size down 1 1/2" for the woman sizing is on point! Snug but not tight.I got these in the brown / orange colorway, and the colors are more rich / vibrant IRL, which I love. Finding a pair that meets the form, function, and fashion trifecta is important to me, and these fit the bill.First impressions: These shoes are going to hug you, in a good way. Finding a pair that meets the form, function, and fashion trifecta is important to me, and these fit the bill.First impressions: These shoes are going to hug you, in a good way. They're snug, but once you stretch them on to your feet (as is intended in design) they feel incredible.I don't know that it's obvious in images, but there's actually an insert that hugs your feet, creating a really nice compression. As someone with high arches I can't tell you how much this makes a difference for general walkability / hiking. They have a really nice cushion as well that make you feel like you're walking on clouds. While they do fit snug, they're wide at the toes which gives your feet the security you need on hikes while still providing breathability. The goretex x grip features are the cherry on top - I have a pair of heavier duty hiking boots, but it's great to have a light pair on hand for shorter hikes that can handle a shallow stream and grip slippery trails.I purchased for light day hikes but will definitely be slipping them on for long walk days in the city. Really happy with these :)
May consider going up one size. They are a little narrow and can be tough to get on. Still I like mine and would not hesitate to buy another pair.
