The Nike Air Foamposite One Eggplant is a basketball shoe that sports its original design along with basketball player Penny Hardaway’s branding. This version of the Nike Air Foamposite One features a nubuck leather and polyurethane upper. Black nubuck leather forms the part just under the laces and sports a small Varsity Purple Nike swoosh on the bottom of the lateral side, while a shiny Varsity Purple Foamposite shell that almost changes color depending on how the light hits it forms the rest of the upper. It’s textured with vertical waves for more visual interest. Penny Hardaway’s 1-Cent branding appears on the heel in purple just under the pull tab, and the tongue also features a pull tab. The shoe has a wavy rubber outsole. What stands out about this shoe is the Foamposite upper, which catches the light and draws the eye to the shoe.
