Runs half size too big, I’m usually a size 11 but needed a 10.5 in these, thankfully Nike has free member returns! Thank you.The boot has lasted well this winter in multiple snow storms, muddy trails and rocky ascents/descents. I have the tan color and get compliments on them all the time.Hope more colors will be available in the future.

I purchased this shoe and the quality seems excellent. There are several drawbacks however. The shoes weigh 1.6 lbs each; very heavy. Also as another reviewer said the strap is useless. You can take it completely off the shoe if you choose. If you do use the strap it is almost too tight to wear. (Size 11.5) With that said the shoe seems like it should be very durable if you can deal with these issues. Nike was very close to a great product with this one but the flaws may be a deal breaker.

While I really wanted to love these because the color is on point but... I couldn’t. They are heavy, and kinda of stiff on the sole area, and the decorative ankle strap was more for like your wrist! It was tiny!! The shoe itself fit me size wise, it was more a comfort thing and the child sized ankle Velcro strap. They have been returned sadly.

Looks terrific and feels great. Once I redid the laces and removed the ankle Velcro strap I am able to slip them on and off without retying the laces. These shoes are very stiff so hopefully they will break in soon, like a baseball glove straight off the shelf. I like the heavy durable feel. Looking forward to enjoying this boot for a long time. First time buying anything not Nike Cortez in years.
PROS: This is a BOOT and not a basketball shoe (hence the "GTX Boot" name). Excellent build and material construction. Looks great. Tread should be very adequate for most inclement/snowy conditions. Runs big - recommend minimum 1/2 size down (maybe full size for some?). Plenty of room in toe box should be adequate for wider feet. Heavier than a shoe, but appropriate weight for a boot. Very comfortable to wear and keeps feet warm in the cool/cold weather. The GTX does it's job.CON: Very difficult to put on/take off unless laces are loose and/or unlaced from top. That may be a dealbreker for me. Personally, I don't want to fumble around with them when they're wet and icy or when I just want to make a quick run out the door.
Other reviewers are right, this is a heavy shoe. I was actually expecting a waterproof basketball-type sneaker, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a much tougher boot in the box - I was really looking for more of a rain/bad weather shoe with some casual style, which these nail. It has the look of the classic AF1s, but with what appears to be a grippy and stable tread pattern on the bottom, make no mistake this shoe is truly a boot.I found they run big. I wear a 10.5 in almost all Nikes (9.5 in most other brands), but I am going to be either a 10 or 9.5 in these. I do agree with what others have said, unless you are lacing it all the way up as snugly as possible the ankle strap isnt all that functional.
Great looking boot! Unfortunately it looks like they’re only available for online purchase. And because of this I can’t check the quality of the shoe until a week after I purchase it. And the right shoe on this boot was sent to me with ripped stitching by the holes where the laces go. And it sticks out like a sore thumb because the boot is black and the ripped stitching is white.

The reflector outlines the swoosh is one of my favorite features because of the added safety measures of living in the city and commuting to work using public transportation.
After a week of consistent use, including walking 1+ miles city commuting daily, I am comfortable saying these are superb. I agree with other reviewers that the strap serves no function other than looking cool. I took it off. I disagree on the half size down comments. My toes are in the exact same spot as my low top AF1 GTX. I would love an all black colorway on this (and a GTX relaunch of the SFB 6” bomber).
Not the most comfortable boots to walk in. Expected it to be a sneaker boot. The strap doesn't have any purpose neither, taking it off made it more comfortable for walking. Main issue is the sole of the shoe is just too stiff and heavy, if only it was more flexible and weighed less this would be a decent boot. Not worth the money, find something better
