I have owned other pairs of AF1's in the past, and they are pretty stiff and difficult to get on, with a fairly large "breaking in" period and sometimes I had to go as far as using a shoe stretcher to get them a little more comfortable in the toe box. They are definitely higher than my usual tennis shoes but I actually really enjoy that as I am a short person. To be totally honest I was not 100% sure that I was “cool enough” to wear these. The jury is still out on whether I am cool or not, but I find myself wearing these will EVERY outfit lately: from workout clothes to jeans to cropped pants and even casual dresses. I can literally take them “from day to night”, like fashion magazines are always insisting that women dress for. The only thing I would change about the shoes is their overall weight, but I have found that I enjoy the sturdiness of the sole AND the extra little bit of height that they give me. I definitely understand the hype behind Air Jordans now and I’ve found myself browsing the Nike website much more lately to decide on my next pair!

Received these as a gift for my birthday. Being that I’m always on the run and gotta go places, I LOVE the ease in just slipping these on and going right out the door. I don’t even tie them, they still have the original knot from the factory. Great quality shoes. They look so fresh. They look exactly like regular af1’s but better because they’re so much easier to slip on. Very comfortable fit and wear. I wear these everyday. They go with everything just as traditional air forces do. This is forever my go to shoes now. Highly recommend. I hope Nike keeps these around forever because I’ll always be buying this pair indefinitely. I’d love if Nike implemented this into more popular styles.
