Nike Air Force 1 Low City Pride Toronto

An Absolute EssentialThe Nike Air Force 1 Low is inarguably one of the most essential sneakers of all time. First debuting on the basketball court in 1982, the Air Force 1 quickly became a staple of the streets where it's remained ever since. When sneaker technology progressed and the Air Force 1 was no longer commonly found on the court, it was then adopted by the sneaker fanatics and hip-hop kids in New York City in the mid '80s. Since then, it's gone on to be one of the most worn shoes ever, with millions of pairs sold worldwide. With its clean, simple – yet bold – look, the amazingly comfortable Air Force 1has become a true classic. If you don't have a pair of Air Force 1's, can you really even call yourself a sneakerhead? Unlimited PossibilitiesThe Air Force 1 Low is most iconic in its simple white-on-white leather colorway, but the shoe has been produced in thousands of other color combinations, materials, and special edition modifications throughout its long and illustrious life. This timeless sneaker is a style staple, so if you can't find a pair to match your own style, you just aren't looking hard enough. Leather, synthetic, or textile upper depending on the style. See each colorway for specific materials. Low-top silhouette for versatile style. Perforations on the toe box and quarter panels supply ventilation. Large Swooshes on each side and branding callouts on the tongue and heel. High-profile midsole for the shoe's signature look. Nike Air cushioning in heel. Non-marking rubber cupsole supplies traction and durability.

Great design thwarted by lack of quality insurance

This review is specifically for the 'Racing' colorway. If you own a pair of AF1s, then you know what this shoe feels like, so I'm only reviewing the aesthetics here. The racing-inspired designs on this particular AF1 are sick, and I instantly had to cop the moment they dropped. But I was disappointed once they arrived because once again, a pair of Nike sneakers I've purchased have been hastily assembled, and apparently didn't go through any kind of QA inspection. The red swoosh on the side is supposed to be perfectly outlined by a slightly larger blue swoosh. On one of the shoes, the two swooshes are misaligned, which ruins the intended 'outline' effect. Also the 3M/reflective hits advertised in the photos aren't all there on the actual sneakers. There is no reflective material in the racing stripes going up the tongue, and down the back of the heel, even though the official photos show that there is. The only reflective portions are the outline of the main swoosh, and the heel tab with the stylized 'AF1' logo. Yes, these are purely aesthetic flaws, but when you drop top dollar on a pair of kicks based solely on how they were advertised by Nike, you expect to get what you paid for. Since this colorway sold out fast, I have no means of exchanging them. This isn't the first time I've had issues with the build quality of Nike sneakers, and yet I keep hoping it's the last.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and it came a couple of days ago. Safe to say i love this shoe. I’m an amateur sneakerhead but never actually got a pair of af1’s. I decided to take the black one, and i love it. Like the white af1, it goes well woth basically anything.

Really cool sneakers

I love these! They look really cool and are also really comfortable. I am a girl and I love sneakers, but there are more options in Air Force 1s, Jordan’s, etc. in men’s shoes. I am usually a size 7 in Nike’s so I got a size 6 and they fit really well. Overall awesome shoes!
