The Nike Air Huarache “Liverpool” is a special collaboration between the storied international soccer club and Nike on the retro performance running shoe. In 2020, Liverpool F. C. announced it had ended its partnership with New Balance and had signed a contract with Nike. This edition of the Air Huarache is the first-ever collaboration between Liverpool and Nike, and pays homage to the team’s red and white coloring with a checkerboard pattern on the bootie, midfoot, and heel. The shoe’s base is designed in white neoprene and tonal leather overlays appear on the forefoot. The removable red “Nike” heel tab reveals “Ynwa” branding, a tribute to the team’s “You’ll Never Walk Alone” anthem.
