My daughter is a competitive athlete and lives in her air max 1 (gs). The all black color is nice because she doesn’t need to wash them as often as her lighter colored air max; however, I do think we prefer the black and white color combo more that the solid black on black. Right out of the box the shoes look like they will be comfy and they were! The design is an androgynous, athletic footwear with a supportive fit. They did however feel a little wider than the typical Nike shoe when actually on. The fabric is thick and it looks long lasting but after a couple of wears inside the gym for a volleyball session they were left with white marks on the smooth material around the outer sides of the shoe and this is the one thing we would change about the material. My son absolutely loves these Air Max! He thinks they are very comfortable and stylish. We love the all black color because it goes with every outfit he owns which consist of literally all Nike lol. The black on black air max 1 is a very comfortable and fashionable shoe for everyday wear. The sole is very soft and provides arch support, it feels like walking on clouds! Overall the material is sturdy and well put together. It seemed to do well in different types of weather and situations without showing signs of wear, creasing or staining. My favorite thing about the air max 1 is the versatility and comfort. The design is fresh and right on trend! You can dress it up or down. I would not make any changes, definitely recommend 😊

Let's face it – kids can be tough on their shoes. Whether it's recess adventures or a pick up game of tag with the neighbors, the Nike Air Max 1 (GS) stands up to the challenge. These shoes seem to have high-quality materials and solid construction, making them a durable choice for active kids. They run true to size and are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. My daughter has never complained about sore feet since switching to these sneakers! They look like they would be heavy and clunky but are surprisingly quite light. Solid sneaker!

When we got them, I had him wear them every day to be able to give an honest review. I recommend that you size up a 1/2 size for the fit because they are a little tight. I got these shoes for my son and he loves them. They are very versatile. You can dress them down or up. My son is 13 and the 6.5 fit good. Not tight but gives him room to grow into. He has worn them practically everyday since we got them, and loves them. They give an old school Nike feel but still stylish. Shoe is comfortable inside. Not hard at all considering they have a little bit of height. Outside materials are smooth and very sleek looking. Overall I would recommend these. Very nice boys shoe.

The suede and fabric makeup of the shoe provide a nice contrast when there is a solid colorway. My daughter loved the colorway of the black on black and could not wait to wear these to school! The Air Max 1 (GS) shoe is a very popular sneaker and for good reason. This shoe features a visible Air Max unit in the heel for cushioning and impact protection that allowed my daughter unlimited ability to move around, jump, run, and play. It is known for its retro-inspired design and comfortable fit but what I particularly loved was this color way…black on black. I don’t know about other parents but I particularly enjoy my child being able to wear a shoe for days on end, without worrying about them looking dirty. These shoes are great for that get up and go family that also cares about looking stylish with minimal effort.
My son loves this shoe because he could wear it with jeans or a sweatsuit. The style of the shoe is very versatile. He likes that fact that he could wear it to play basketball or wear it as an everyday shoe to school. He likes that it doesn’t weigh much and is comfortable enough to wear all day and doesn’t hurt his feet. He likes it in all black because it matches with any color he wears or any outfit he chooses for that matter. I like the fabric of the shoe as it is easy enough for me to clean if he gets it dirty.
