Ordered 4/22/20: Let me start by saying that these are thee most comfortable Air Max's I've ever owned! I own a pair of Air Max 270's and they're nowhere near as comfortable as these 2090's. These are super comfortable and lightweight so much so that I can wear them all day.-COLORWAY: I'm not usually a fan of bright colored shoes but this colorway was deeply discounted and I couldn't pass them up. I have never had a bad pair of Nike shoes in all the years (30 +) I have worn them. I have 9 pairs in my closet now. That's why this pair was SO disappointing and at $100 on sale!! I got my correct size and Oh My Gosh, after one 1 hour of wear, my feet were burning, and cramped and my knees were killing me. What doesn't help is that the heel area is actually higher and unevenly cushioned than the front of the shoe. BE AWARE -Your body weight is pitched forward - almost like wearing short heels. The front of the shoe had little to no padding - no one runs, jumps, moves with only their heels needing cushion! I had a twinge of reticence to wear them because I noticed it right away, but decided to give the benefit of the doubt. I thought these schools looked cute online plus they were on sale. I needed to replace my old airman 270s that were much past their prime. When these arrived however I left them in the box for days trying to decide if I actually liked them in person. They are relatively large and clunky. They are not your running shoes which I was already aware of. They will prevent your standard bootcut Jen from laying nicely over then instead of bunching up. I eventually wore them around the house for several days to find they are very comfy. The tongue hole is great to adjust the tongue ones on. If they’re on sale I recommended picking them up and giving them a try. If you’re super picky like I am they may or may not wear on you.

I wasn't looking for gym shoes. I wanted a sharp looking, comfortable pair of athletic shoes - a pair I could wear all day, take brisk walks in, that wouldn't pinch my toes or cause blisters on the back of my heels. I read lots of reviews - the Nike Air Max 2090 seemed to fit the bill. I couldn't find them in a store to try them on (I usually never buy shoes online). But I took a leap of faith and ordered the black/white pair. I put them on and hate taking them off! Comfy! They are true to size. Supportive. Comfortable. No pinches, no aches. No breaking in period. Plenty of toe room. And I love how nice they look! They were good to go right out of the box.
I thought these looked fab but they are not quite practical for everyday use. There is a porous plasticky shield which gets manky quickly, no amount of scrubbing will make a difference. Due to them being so porous they aren't any good in the rain, unless you like soaking feet. I walked home in these one night after missing the last bus, my heels had horrendous, huge blood blisters right the way round due to the inners. The insole actually rides up ever so slightly into the heel section which duly rubs against your heel. Now I only wear them when my other trainers are needing cleaned. Stay away from mesh trainers they are useless. Not a good buy.
Tried these on in store and the 7.5 was a tad too small but the stores didnt have a womans size 8 so i decided to order them online. Size 8 arrived and feels exactly like the 7.5 i tried on. The front (toes) area is too tight compressing and pushing down on my toes. The front of the foot is suppose to naturally raise when walking yet this sneaker as well as other recent airmax i've tried on are compressing the toes too much. What's good Nike ?? Your destroying the natural shape of peoples feet. The years of foot bondage are well over - we don't need to stop the growth of our feet in 2020. Nike has to DO BETTER !!! No wonder why people are trying to resell these..
Gutted, they look good in the photos, but are badly made.- The sizing is out (I'm always a 5.5, but that size was way too big and actually fit My Mum who is a 6).- The middle part of the shoe is SO narrow - I have average, if not narrow feet, and they are SO tight on that part and a weird shape there, it doesn't feel comfortable.- The heels also squeak, which should not be happening with such expensive, brand new shoes, that you would expect to be of good quality.- The inner and outer parts of the shoe are not sewn together, so you have to wriggle your feet about and pull the shoes a bit to get them to sit properly.Really disappointed as I also tried the next size down, but they were just as bad. They run 1/2 a size small. They make your feet appear bigger, which I am not to happy about. Also, not too comfortable. I ordered two pairs in different color. One in my true size and one a 1/2 size bigger and both fit the same. They are tight around the toe area and after 8-10hrs at work my toes are killing me. I love NIKE, but I wouldn't recommend the 2090 especially if you on your feet all day. Last, the champagne color material seems cheap and the threading are coming loose. I would recommend anyone who wants to buy these sneakers to go in person and try them before purchasing them.
I loved these shoes when I first bought them because of the fashionable design and great color combination. I was careful about which weather and conditions I wore them and even used crep protect, but unfortunately the rainy and muddy English weather soiled them quite quickly, within a week of buying them and no amount of cleaning or wiping has made them look white again. They quickly became an ugly shade of cream and the outside material is textured which makes it really hard to clean out. Really sad because they were beautiful when they were first new! But very comfortable.
By far my favorite pair of Nikes at the moment. A spin off the original Air max look makes theses unique in style but still a nice basic shoe. Not everybody gonna be rocking the same thing you have, like the Air Force 1s or Air Max 90s. A really great shoe overall love the little design details and color, super comfortable as well the sole of the shoe is a more soft/ cloudy material. and the outside material is perfect cause its easy to clean unlike mesh but won't crease like leather. One thing I will say is that they do run a bit big. I wear between size 7.5 (for tighter fit) -8 (for some space) in women's and bought these in size 7.5 and still had some room so I recommend sizing half size down.
