Air Max 270

Let's just start with the fact I am not a runner.... at all! I do however walk a lot. I just purchased them at the beginning of January 2023. So far so good. I've been wearing Nike for over 35 years. No matter what pair or style of Nike I buy, they always fit perfectly, including the 270's. I bought 3 pair this year. Different colors. Very comfortable and light. I have OCD.... who doesn't in some magnitude, so I only wear them when it is sunny and dry out. I live in the Northeast, so picking the right day is hard. It's either raining or snowing. Anyway, back to the sneakers. In a nutshell, I love them so far. This review is for all 3 pairs, as they are exactly the same, just different colors like I said. I got them on sale, which was a bonus.

The shoes are great, I have them in a few colors. I give the shoes 5 stars, and Dicks 1 star. I had my wife take pictures when these arrived. This was the black on black pair. The soles had white fuzzy mold or something growing off of them. It cleaned right off, but I don't understand why you'd ship a customer that? I bought an all black pair of Lebrons also a few months back that I returned because the right shoe was defective and dug into my pinky toe. I feel like they ship out problem items and if you go to the store you get the good stuff? Just my experience .

First, I need to say that I am not a runner and I would not use these for running because of the flimsy material that being said, just walking around relaxing, I have no complaints. Nike started having a problem when they had their shoes made somewhere else. I am not an 11 by any stretch of the imagination but with Nike now I’m 11 11 1/2. There are other brands out there but if you’re superficial like me, it’s Nike all the way. I can’t recommend this for working out or running.

Great buy!
18 January 2023

Purchased these as a Christmas gift and they fit perfectly! I snagged the last pair at the store (with curbside pickup) in the all-black color way that I wanted, and couldn't be happier with this purchase. I'm told they fit very true-to-size and are super comfortable for a man with some knee issues. About the same cost as Air Max shoes in other retailers, but I love the perks that come with my Dicks Score Card, and ended up paying a bit less with accumulated points. Would definitely recommend.

Had these previously, back again
22 May 2023

Use to wear these some years ago and switched to HOKA’s because of the comfort offer. However, HOKA’s toe box is very large and foot would slip from side-to-side. Thought I would try these again. Glad I did. I like the snug feel it provides and the comfort level is acceptable for what I was looking for. Being older and with back issues, I alternate between these and the HOKA’s. My only issue is, my feet swell after a period of time and the Nike’s do not allow for the expansion. However, Love these shoe and definitely would recommend them. Be safe.

Looks to kill, slighty less than optimal fit
9 July 2021

First things first: Looks alone I would give these a 100 out of 10... they are exquisite! I was a little concerned after reading that some were getting shipped pairs that were dirty or worn- mine came brand new sparkling clean out of the box.Now for how they fit: I wear a size 12 and have narrow feet. Even having narrow feet, these shoes feel very narrow around the arch area right in front of the heel portion of my foot. It almost feels as if they are cupped and my feet extend over the outer edges. Also, because the heel is slightly elevated with the air pod, it kind of forces your foot to slide down into the toe of the show. Lastly, the tongue is connected to the upper as one piece, so getting the shoe on is a little tight and you have to bend the back of the ... MoreFirst things first: Looks alone I would give these a 100 out of 10... they are exquisite! No major deal breakers, but for this much money and an iconic shoe brand such as Nike, I think these should fit and feel as good as they look. That is my reasoning for the 4 out of 5 star rating.

Material isn't Durable
3 August 2022

My son begged me for these last year for back to school sneakers. Against my better judgment I spent $160 on these. About 2 weeks later they had 2 holes in the fabric. I'm more than disgusted with the delicate nature of these decently expensive Nikes. They continued to develop more homes in them. I did fill out a Nike warranty form but heard nothing back. This doesn't hold well for Nike's commitment to their products. My son is 16, so maybe these would be better for someone who babies their shoes. He does have lots of Nike's that have held up fine. Given my experience I would NOT recommend these shoes.

Nice looking shoe but runs small
6 September 2022

I have been looking to get a pair of these for a while now. I finally decided to pull the trigger and got my usual size in Nikes. I ordered online and picked up in store (all seamless) but when I tried them on they were difficult to get on (due to the tongue being connected to the back of the shoe) and where tight in the toe box. I tried to exchange for a larger size but they were out. What a shame, I really like the look of the shoe.

Nike air max 270
1 February 2023

I have the Nike air max 270s and they’re nice. I like em a lot. They run a little thin and break in overtime. I liked em so much I got the G270s (golf version of the air max 270s). I took em back. They had a hole and made a sound every time I stepped in them. I wish the Nike air max 270s had the same waterproof technology as the regular 270s but I’m still happy. I have the white ones and thinking about getting the black ones with the gum soles

Not worth the money- do not hold up up over time
3 November 2021

I have bought 3-4 pair of these and do not recommend them. First pair were ok and he described them as comfortable so my husband wanted a second pair. Because of the color we bought they got dirty quickly so its hard to say how long first pair would have held up. Second pair didn't last more than probably 3 months before air bubble area popped on one shoe. At that point we were 50% on these shoes that are 150.00 a pair. My middle school kid begged for a pair to start this school year. It's only November and there is a hole in the top of the shoe around where the big toe would be. The fabric is ripping away from where the fabric meets the sole of the shoe. Guys....these are 150.00 shoes. They should last longer than 3 months with normal use. And you guessed it...they are out of the return date for Dick's to have to take back and I contacted Nike and guess what.....they claim there is nothing they can do for me. So, I got 3 months out of a 150.00 shoe when normally my kids school shoes last the entire school year, unless their foot grows. How convenient for a shoe to make it out of the warranty stage but not much longer. Very disappointed in Nike quality compared to price and the struggle to make them accountable for their product. You can find a much cheaper shoe that will hold up that long. Do not recommend. However, if you need to hear something positive, both my husband and son said these shoes were comfortable on their feet.
