Let's just start with the fact I am not a runner.... at all! I do however walk a lot. I just purchased them at the beginning of January 2023. So far so good. I've been wearing Nike for over 35 years. No matter what pair or style of Nike I buy, they always fit perfectly, including the 270's. I bought 3 pair this year. Different colors. Very comfortable and light. I have OCD.... who doesn't in some magnitude, so I only wear them when it is sunny and dry out. I live in the Northeast, so picking the right day is hard. It's either raining or snowing. Anyway, back to the sneakers. In a nutshell, I love them so far. This review is for all 3 pairs, as they are exactly the same, just different colors like I said. I got them on sale, which was a bonus.

Difficult to wear

I don’t understand where all the 5-star reviews are coming from. The only stars I can give these sneakers are for the look and style - very cute and stylish. But they are impossible to get on! The tongue is sewn in which I was not aware of prior to purchasing (maybe my own fault) and it is a workout just to get my feet inside the shoe. Once they’re on, my feet slide all the way forward because of the back bumper being so big. I am a true size 7 and from reading the reviews I ordered a 7.5 but they’re still too snug to be comfortable. Feels like I am walking on an uneven, downward sloping platform in these. Eh. Not impressed for the price of these.

For me they do not run small

If you have thin ankles I suggest getting your normal size. I followed reviewers suggestions & sized a 1/2 size up (normally wear an 8.5 but bought size 9)… At first I regretted sizing up as they felt too roomy in the entire ankle & heel region. However after I put my orthopedics inside (without removing the shoes insoles/ inserts) they fit perfectly. These shoes are soft mesh around the majority of the shoe with exception to the heel portion. I found the shoes to be deep, which is why I could layer my orthopedics directly on top of the shoes insole/inserts)…. I find the heel to be stiff & supportive. I’ve only used them while doing weight training & boxing. I won’t use them for cardio as I have actual running shoes for that.

LETS SEE IF 3RD TIME IS A CHARM
20 April 2023

I bought the all white pair last week. It arrived this week and the bottoms were WORN! Someone didn't just try them on. They were freaking worn. So I hurried up and ordered another pair that arrived yesterday....... something is wrong with the coloring. They are supposed to be all white. white/silver or whatever. Well the one part of the shoe has a VERY VERY light green shade. But it's noticeable. I wanted white/white. This is crazy. I am going to return both pairs tonight and hope the 3rd pair shows up before Saturday (when I need them) and that they aren't worn or discolored. VERY disappointed.

Nice shoe not comfortable though
1 March 2023

It’s a nice shoe i heard a bunch of great things so I wanted to try for myself. (Continue reading)Firstly I got my regular size which is and 8w these shoes were so tight I had to return them, I do have wide feet but these were so hard to get on I felt my circulation in my feet starting to stickle (go numb) so I called and I had to go up a whole size to 9W. Nike used to be great when I was growing up, now it’s gotten cheap and the shoes aren’t even sized accordingly. I used to be 1 shoe size in every brand. Now you’re 3 different sizes in different shoes of the same brand. RIDICULOUS. The shoe is garbage I paid 160$ for them. Not even worth it. Should’ve gotten something more comfortable. Just sucks finding the right shoe. I wore them for 8 hours cause I was at ... MoreIt’s a nice shoe i heard a bunch of great things so I wanted to try for myself. Not worth the money- do not hold up up over time
3 November 2021

I have bought 3-4 pair of these and do not recommend them. First pair were ok and he described them as comfortable so my husband wanted a second pair. Because of the color we bought they got dirty quickly so its hard to say how long first pair would have held up. Second pair didn't last more than probably 3 months before air bubble area popped on one shoe. At that point we were 50% on these shoes that are 150.00 a pair. My middle school kid begged for a pair to start this school year. It's only November and there is a hole in the top of the shoe around where the big toe would be. The fabric is ripping away from where the fabric meets the sole of the shoe. Guys....these are 150.00 shoes. They should last longer than 3 months with normal use. And you guessed it...they are out of the return date for Dick's to have to take back and I contacted Nike and guess what.....they claim there is nothing they can do for me. So, I got 3 months out of a 150.00 shoe when normally my kids school shoes last the entire school year, unless their foot grows. How convenient for a shoe to make it out of the warranty stage but not much longer. Very disappointed in Nike quality compared to price and the struggle to make them accountable for their product. You can find a much cheaper shoe that will hold up that long. Do not recommend. However, if you need to hear something positive, both my husband and son said these shoes were comfortable on their feet.

Perfection. Comfortable, Functional & on-trend.

I went back and forth as to whether I should purchase these online or in store. Once they rolled out the black on black version I knew I wanted them, however I didn’t want the hassle of returning them should I not get the correct size. I went to the store and tried them on as a lot of folks said they sized up, they were too tight etc Well I’m glad I did. I ended up going with my true size of a 7.5. They are fairly well fitted, and don’t have a tongue so they offer a much tighter fit. Had I gotten the 8 they would’ve been too big once broken in. My feet are narrow, and I have high arches. Great for working out, long distance walking or running errands. They’re comfortable and I absolutely LOVE them! I’m considering purchasing a second pair because I love them that much!

So incredibly comfy!

I bought these shoes about 2 weeks ago and oh my word… they’re amazing! The style and the cushion in the heel are definitely my two favorite elements. I only have a couple issues… 172 dollars is A LOT for a pair of Nikes, however, they are considered luxury and I also think that it was worth it. I’d own them in every color if I could! I also feel like they run small. Not by a ridiculous amount, but I wear a 7, and had to size up to an 8. So when ordering online, keep that in mind! I also feel like the sole of the shoe is a little small for the actual shoe itself. It might get better, but off the bat and a couple weeks of day to day wear, I find that it’s still an ongoing issue. I have an issue with my knees and feet where my arches are really high, but my feet and knees aren’t completely aligned so they roll inward. The outside part of the sole is a little high and almost makes it worse. This condition is incredibly common and as a dancer, it’s something I’ve been working on for as long as I’ve known about it. Better arch support is something I’m always looking for! If that’s one of your concerns, just keep that in mind.Overall, I think these shoes are definitely the most stylish Nike shoe and they’re super comfy. My issues are minor, but I wanted to put that out there for those who also struggle!

small and narrow, but cute
12 August 2023

Saw these at the anniversary sale and couldn't wait to try them because the color combo of white and volt is so my style. I will preface that I have hard to find shoe size. 10.5 wide. It's basically non existent. I usually size down to a 10 for sneakers, or just buy the men's equivalent (9 or 9.5). I read these ran small so thought the 11 would be great. Nope! Still too narrow and toe was almost to the very end of toe box. I ended up finding these elsewhere in an 11.5 and while I would appreciate a bit more width but they're bearable because I really love the color way. So if you have average feet go up at least 1/2 size. If you have wide feet either avoid these or go up a whole size at least!
