First ordered these in a 11. That’s the size I buy vapormaxs in. But in the 270’s that was a little small. So I reordered them in a 12 and the fit perfect! Very comfortable, and feel great on the feet. The pictures don’t really do them justice. I was a little nervous to how they would actually look and they look better in person. I was worried about the huge heal air bag but it flows nicely with the shoe. I have 5 pairs of vapormaxs, I think I might be switching to these instead especially for the the money.

I saw these shoes when I was browsing the Nike sale during Black Friday and I found myself returning to check them out multiple times per day. Eventually, I figured I had a $50 gift card burning a hole in my pocket so I decided to make the purchase. I've owned the 270s before and these new rendition of them is top notch. I love the react sole. It does feel like the bubble is almost like a heel which pushes your foot forward, but you do get used to it after a bit. The comfort is there. I cannot speak to the durability as I have yet to put them to the test, but I have no doubts Nike's products will stand up well. Love the shoes. Picked them up in the Impressionism Art and Psychedelic Art color ways. Love the silhouette. Definitely worth checking out!

Air Max Unit is Rock Hard somehow

Like the look of them so I bought these with the intention of using them for clinical rotations in the hospital. Its got air cushioning AND react foam, how could these not be the ultimate in comfort, with style to top it off. Well unfortunately, the combination of react foam with the 270 Air Max unit just does not work with this configuration. The Air unit is Very tall, which causes your heel to feel raised and gives you a sensation of being leaned forward which I could already tell would bother my lower back over long hours standing. It is also Rock Hard somehow and does not activate at all when stepped on. This makes the heel toe transition very clunky, your whole foot slaps the ground at the same time rather than a nice rolling action. Maybe this is because the React foam is so soft that you dont have enough pressure to really get into the Air unit, I dont know, but I am a tall athletic 235 lbs and even my size 15 foot couldn't get it to activate. Look at the product photo of the guy standing on the backs of his heels, this is literally what you have to do to activate it. 2 stars because the look is pretty cool, and someone might be buying it for style or squat workouts rather than all day function.

Awesome. Can in the original box. Super clean and even the insoles had been cleaned. So happy with this purchase.

Good idea, bad execution

First off....these look amazing. The colors, the shape, Nike killed it.Now, tech wise? It sounds like a great idea to marry these two technologies, but they failed miserably. The main problem here is the heel-to-toe transition is clunky at best, and awful at worst. Because the Air unit is enclosed in React, there is no way to "activate" it, as React is just too soft. So you get this huge bubble on your heel, while that nice sinking feeling on the forefoot from the React. All in all, its not necessarily uncomfortable, they are just....weird.

Great shoe with one setback
28 March 2023

This is a comfortable and great-looking sneaker. Good support and lots of padding within. My main grievance is the heel area containing the air extends too far behind the back of the shoe. This causes the shoe to hit unnaturally early on the ground while walking. I think it was made this way for style, because it feels a bit abnormal and causes me to adjust the way I walk slightly.

LOVE these, but read reviews and try before you buy if you can...

Great colourway. Look amazing with some pink rope laces. Sizing and comfort have been a bit decisive in some reviews I've seen online where the air back meets the foam front but I've found them very very comfortable. You get a little bit of a heel feeling as sideways stability takes some getting used to, but again, after 5 minutes of wearing them

Not bad, but not great
12 April 2020

Bought these because I loved the style. Discovered that they ran a little big on my feet. Comfortable, but did need to break them in for a few days. Sent a display Shoe because one shoe was slightly discolored but not highly noticeable unless close up. In addition the display shoe had a small scuff. Color was hard to get so I kept them. But FL should discount or only sell display shoes in the store NOT online. Wouldn't have bought if I made an in-store purchase, not at all on Nike.

Nothing less than perfection.

These out-perform my expectations a hundred times over! When they arrived, they were on time. The box was unscathed, crisp and taped with the “Nike” logo which I thought was a cool feature. Opening that box, the shoe box was in mint condition as if I were to get them in store. My package showed evidence of true care while being handled, and I greatly appreciate that. Upon revealing the shoes, that “new new” scent spread through the air. I picked up the left and looked it over. The air chamber was gleaming with not a mark on it, the laces in a slip knot gently tucked away. The gray fleece like fabric is so soft. Once I put them on, I was beyond impressed with just how well they fit my foot, and felt just right. I can tell why these are Reacts, too, they move in ways ... MoreThese out-perform my expectations a hundred times over! When they arrived, they were on time. Uncomfortable/Heel Slippage
30 July 2019

When I saw the Nike Air Max 270 React I thought what an awesome combination. React and 270 combining together is an a great idea. Once I got the shoe I was very disappointed in the comfort and what was made with the shoe. The comfort was stiff, and the transition from the heel to the toe was uncomfortable. A lot of room in the ankle area, and when walking a noticeable heel slippage. Sizing is not true to size. I even went down a half a size and my foot was still uncomfortable in the shoe. Had high hopes for it but had to return them within two weeks for Nike Air Max Plus. I Wouldn’t recommend this shoe but if they fixed these issues in the future that be a different story. Big Nike person but just didn’t do well this shoe. Thank you Nike!
