Air Max 270

Let's just start with the fact I am not a runner.... at all! I do however walk a lot. I just purchased them at the beginning of January 2023. So far so good. I've been wearing Nike for over 35 years. No matter what pair or style of Nike I buy, they always fit perfectly, including the 270's. I bought 3 pair this year. Different colors. Very comfortable and light. I have OCD.... who doesn't in some magnitude, so I only wear them when it is sunny and dry out. I live in the Northeast, so picking the right day is hard. It's either raining or snowing. Anyway, back to the sneakers. In a nutshell, I love them so far. This review is for all 3 pairs, as they are exactly the same, just different colors like I said. I got them on sale, which was a bonus.

I’ve bought from Puetz for years and I’ve never been disappointed. The products are the best, and reviews on the online webpage are valuable and spot on. Selection and customer service are second to none. Ships quickly with great communication. The Nike Shoes are the most stable and comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. The are made to be worn in wet conditions but they are quite comfortable and dry even in hot weather. They are very affordable for the quality. I’ve tried them all. You can’t go wrong with these.

Comfortable, Great Looking Shoe, But They Lasted Less Than a Year.

In less than 2 months later, the outsole started separating from the midsole making the shoe virtually unusable for golf.I've sent it into Nike for a warranty replacement so we'll see if they will honor it. There is something about Nike's spikeless shoes that seem to be more focused on style than the demands on a golf course over time. I've seen a similar issue in a review on the Air Max 90 G shoes.

Great Shoe, but blown out heel 3X
25 May 2023

I love this shoe, best golf shoe I've ever owned. It's like they were made for me: Super stable but not heavy, tread not cleats, no leather (vegan), narrower than average, great looking, super durable, and water resistant HOWEVER and this is kind of a bid deal, I've blown out the heel on all 3 pairs over the last 2/12 years. The first lasted several months or more and I wasn't even sure they'd take them back, but they did. The second blew out in the minute I tried them on, the third last several months and they blew out when I started really going hard on ground reaction force with my new coach who has me pressing hard into the right and left heel. I just don't think this exposed air pocketed heel works. I don't know if anyone else has this problem. I'm only 200 lbs ... MoreI love this shoe, best golf shoe I've ever owned. I'm only 200 lbs and 6'4" and I'm relatively big hitter 280-300 yds and live in LA where we do have extreme heat. Maybe its just the size 13's. IDK. The good news is the customer service is great and I've never had an issue. But I'm done I'll be moving on to a different Nike golf shoe.

Had these previously, back again

Use to wear these some years ago and switched to HOKA’s because of the comfort offer. However, HOKA’s toe box is very large and foot would slip from side-to-side. Thought I would try these again. Glad I did. I like the snug feel it provides and the comfort level is acceptable for what I was looking for. Being older and with back issues, I alternate between these and the HOKA’s. My only issue is, my feet swell after a period of time and the Nike’s do not allow for the expansion. However, Love these shoe and definitely would recommend them. Be safe.

Material isn't Durable
3 August 2022

My son begged me for these last year for back to school sneakers. Against my better judgment I spent $160 on these. About 2 weeks later they had 2 holes in the fabric. I'm more than disgusted with the delicate nature of these decently expensive Nikes. They continued to develop more homes in them. I did fill out a Nike warranty form but heard nothing back. This doesn't hold well for Nike's commitment to their products. My son is 16, so maybe these would be better for someone who babies their shoes. He does have lots of Nike's that have held up fine. Given my experience I would NOT recommend these shoes.

Not comfortable and Dicks does NOT honor the Nike Warranty
31 May 2023

I tried these on at the store and they fit perfectly. However, they did not have the color that I wanted. So the associate placed the order online. When the shoes came in, they fit tight. However, there was a 45 day comfort warranty in the box that states you can return them if they did not fit right. My wife told me to return them, but since there was a warranty, I thought they would try them and see if they broke in. They made my feet feel like they were on fire, so I had to return them. When I spoke to the associate, he told me that he could not accept them worn. The warranty clearly states that you can return them back to the store where they were purchased… Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Not worth the money- do not hold up up over time
3 November 2021

I have bought 3-4 pair of these and do not recommend them. First pair were ok and he described them as comfortable so my husband wanted a second pair. Because of the color we bought they got dirty quickly so its hard to say how long first pair would have held up. Second pair didn't last more than probably 3 months before air bubble area popped on one shoe. At that point we were 50% on these shoes that are 150.00 a pair. My middle school kid begged for a pair to start this school year. It's only November and there is a hole in the top of the shoe around where the big toe would be. The fabric is ripping away from where the fabric meets the sole of the shoe. Guys....these are 150.00 shoes. They should last longer than 3 months with normal use. And you guessed it...they are out of the return date for Dick's to have to take back and I contacted Nike and guess what.....they claim there is nothing they can do for me. So, I got 3 months out of a 150.00 shoe when normally my kids school shoes last the entire school year, unless their foot grows. How convenient for a shoe to make it out of the warranty stage but not much longer. Very disappointed in Nike quality compared to price and the struggle to make them accountable for their product. You can find a much cheaper shoe that will hold up that long. Do not recommend. However, if you need to hear something positive, both my husband and son said these shoes were comfortable on their feet.

Pros n cons
25 July 2022

Based on me being 50 and with back conditions.Cons:1. Extremely hard to put on.2. The material attracts dust/dirt and they look dirty throughout your round.3. Ankles are sore - not designed to support a golfers foot movement through the swing.4. Tag at the back always sticking out.5. Going down a steep hill I've slipped in the wet - grip isn't like soft spikes.Pros:1. Very comfortable.2. Extremely easy to clean and come up like new.3. Best waterproof shoes I've ever had.4. Wear before/after as they are like trainers.5. They look superb.6. Grip is okay on the tee.I'd say these aren't a winter waterproof shoe, these are aimed at 16 to 35 players with no mobility back injuries who play in the summer that look belting and are great for keeping your feet ... MoreBased on me being 50 and with back conditions.Cons:1. Unless you play in bone dry conditions get the black!

Love that Nike are taking their best air max silhouettes into the golf world I have at least one pair of each different one and love them all it stinks they don’t make them with replaceable spikes but the good news is after a season or two when they are worn down they still make great shoes off the course. I like my golf shoes snug so these didn’t bother me especially once broken in but take width into account. If your going with the 270’s I’d suggest going with the black though unless you use stain and water repellent they aren’t going to stay white long even if you clean them right away. I don’t wear spikeless when it’s wet I’ve only played in light dew with these and after only a few rounds there are slight blemishes and noticeable discoloration but that still ... MoreLove that Nike are taking their best air max silhouettes into the golf world I have at least one pair of each different one and love them all it stinks they don’t make them with replaceable spikes but the good news is after a season or two when they are worn down they still make great shoes off the course.
