The Nike Air Max 90 Golf Infrared is a special iteration of the iconic Air Max 90 silhouette that first debuted in the early 90s. It is special because it boasts various performance features tailored for the golf course. The shoe retains the recognizable silhouette of the Air Max 90 with the only notable difference being the outsole which is specifically designed to offer optimum grip on the golf course. The infrared colorway features a white base complemented by striking red accents on the eyelets, heel tab, Air Max unit, and other branding details. It also has black detailing around the mudguard, part of the lace eyelets, and the outsole. The Swoosh branding appears in dark grey. One of the standout features on the Nike Air Max 90 Golf Infrared is the visible air unit in the heel area which adds to the overall aesthetic of the shoe while also contributing to comfort through responsive cushioning and impact absorption. The shoe was released for retail in January 2021 for $140.

These shoes look awesome and are of great quality. The Air Max 90s have always been a favorite of mine (I own 4 pairs) Once I found out they were releasing these as a golf shoe I had to have them. I've owned any and all brands of golf shoes including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Footjoy, GFore, Truelinkswear. I'm loyal to no brand of shoes. These shoes feel very similar to the Air Max 90 sneaker version. Grip is pretty good and have had no issues there. I would say that these fit similar to the sneaker version but with the waterproofing on the shoe there is a little less give making the toe box a feel a bit snug compared to the street shoe. I normally wear a size 11, I went with size 11 in these and they work great. If you have a wider foot go up half a size. If you have a ... MoreThese shoes look awesome and are of great quality. Not only do these shoes perform exceptionally well, but they also stand out with their sleek and modern design. The combination of classic elements and contemporary touches gives them a versatile look that pairs well with various golf outfits. I appreciate how the design seamlessly blends fashion with functionality.

LOVE these!!! I would buy more but there’s not much variety in colors. It’s very comfy. True to size and water proof lol (stepped in a puddle). Great shoes!

Great looking shoe, but not the most comfortable. The comfort is ok, but I’ve definitely had more comfortable golf shoes. Traction is sufficient for me. I’ve always worn a 10 in Nike shoes, but these fit small. Order at least 1/2 size larger.
I usually purchase 270’s for my husband but needed a shoe with a hint of mint green to coordinate with an outfit. The air max are nice but definitely different in comfort from the 270’s!They run a little small but still work. The quality of leather also feels different from past air max purchases.
Disclaimer:I’m fairly new to golf, so I don’t have other golf shoes to compare it to. But, as a fan of the Air Max 90 (Air Maxes in general), I had to get these when they restocked.Looks:The shoes look great. Very similar looking to normal Air Max 90s. The toe box shape is pleasing since it isn’t boxy and appears quite a bit slimmer/lower.On foot:As with any other Nike shoe, I buy half a size up. Would recommend buying the same size you would for other AM90s, if you have them, or whatever size you normally purchase for Nike shoes.I have more wide, flat feet, so there are times when I will need to break in Nike shoes. For the non-golf AM90s, I have not needed to break them in. For these, the first time out on the course, they initially felt good. For the non-golf AM90s, I have not needed to break them in. For these, the first time out on the course, they initially felt good. They’re stiffer than normal AM90s. Solid comfort though. Normal AM90s feel a bit more cushiony/comfortable than these for some reason. After about 2 hours on the course, I started to feel a bit of pain (nothing unbearable) on my right pinky toe. This is usually the problem I have with any Nike/Jordan shoe that I need to break in, so no surprise there. I’m sure this will go away as the shoe breaks in.Performance:The layer that is applied to the majority of the shoe to make it water resistant does appear to work. When I play in the early morning, none of the morning dew on the course got through the shoe as I play through the course. I will say the shoe didn’t feel as breathable and I imagine it’s due to this layer of protection. I’m curious to see how breathable these will be when playing on a warmer day.As for traction, having only played in normal Nike running shoes (React cushioning/outsole and Free RN cushioning/outsole), it was very noticeable that I had quite a bit of grip. I’ve never played with spikes, so can’t compare to that. But for a non-spiked outsole that doesn’t look like it would give more traction than normal sneakers, I absolutely felt the grip. I don’t generate a ton of torque, so I don’t know how the grip will be for more powerful swings. I will say that I felt secure throughout my swing and my feet did not slip or move around.Overall, I’m enjoying these shoes. Glad I bought them. Will try to buy other colorways as they release. Looking forward to breaking them in and seeing how they will perform over time. Would definitely recommend if you love AM90s. Not sure if they are the best performing non-spiked Nike golf shoes, but they perform fine for me at the moment and I love that I can wear AM90s to golf without having to wear any of my normal AM90s.
Bought these in a size 9. For the last 30+ years all I wear is Nike golf/running/football etc. shoes in a size 9. Always fit great right out of the box. To my surprise these felt just a little larger at a size 9. Threw the box out feeling extremely comfortable with the fact that these, like all others; would fit perfect out of the box.Had to return these, but no original box. Nike said no problem. I was not surprised about that. My refund was processed immediately. Looking forward to my next purchase with Nike. Nike Nation!
Such a good overall golf shoe. Very comfortable. I walk a decent amount and have no issues. Traction is good as well. I play early morning and there is always still dew and have had no issues there. Plus I have always loved AM90s so that's an added bonus for me
So many good reviews but maybe I got a bad pair. After 5 walking rounds the shoes are still very stiff. The tongue seems short and is constantly slipping down or to the side and always needs to be readjusted. I find them to be much less comfortable than the Jordan 1’s or the $60 Nike Infinity G I’ve been using for the last couple years.
This shoe is stylish and somewhat comfortable to wear. Given its a soft spike I found it to be bulky and heavy. I liked the style of soft spike it had however the shoe fell apart after owning it for about 2 golf seasons.
