The Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape Black Elemental Pink takes an iconic silhouette and crafts it using sustainable, partially recycled materials. The result is a fresh, environmentally conscientious, durable iteration of a classic. Initially designed for running, this sneaker features a black mesh upper overlaid with synthetic textiles in black and light brown. The side panel Nike Swoosh is a pink textile and connects at the back to form a pull loop. A partially recycled Crater Foam midsole in a translucent grayish-blue hue houses a visible Air cassette under the heel for springy propulsion. The outsole crafted with recycled Nike grind rubber has grooves and modified waffle lugs for impact absorption and traction. Our favorite aspects of this sneaker are the brown synthetic leather mudguard and purple synthetic leather heel tab, which replace TPU on the original silhouette. The mudguard features debossed Air Max branding in lieu of a cut-out TPU window, while the heel tab sports an embossed Nike Swoosh.
