I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. I was looking for a classic shoe that would look good with everything in all black. The 97 is one of my favorites because of the sleek design and versatility. Although I did look at the color description and picture, I did not realize that the base mesh was a soft material (velvet, fur?). Good thing that this section is not really visible because in my opinion, it takes away from the overall classic look. Other than that, it's a great fit and style.

I received my shoes yesterday. Open the sealed box. Go to try on my shoes and the left shoe has a pair of old socks in it. LIKE HOW!!? This is crazy to me! I thought I was tripping out.I start to inspect these almost $200 pair of shoes and start to notice that the shoes where re-painted to cover up something. Paint was all over the bubble at the bottom. Paint on corners.Like soooo so bad. How do they ship out a pair of shoes like that. I had to drive (with crazy gas prices) to the store and return these shoes!So sooo disappointed in DICKS in this one. Definitely dropped the ball.Love the style shoes and fit comfortable but definitely disappointed with the seller.

Bought these shoes online. I would've given it a 5-star but Finishline sent me a pair of shoes that looked like it didn't pass the quality control. The side leather was peeling off, and so many leftover threads everywhere. I had to take them back to the store for an exchange. The shoes itself looks nice and bulky, it looks nice with nursing scrubs.

Really like the “Athletic Club” color way of this sneaker, in an iconic silhouette. Wears well. I ordered a size larger because reviews I watched on YouTube said these fit snug, but I honestly think they seem to fit true to size. I get a decent amount of heel slip and kinda wished I would have bought my normal 13 instead of a 14. But a solid shoe.
These shoes have attitude in a good way, 100% solid shoe, I’ve had these type of shoes before (low top, casuals) and where other shoes miss fire in categories like comfort and warmth the 97 has just enough and that’s good from Nike’s part. Design, comfort and warmth during cold days is important. But the 97’s big story is the design, get yourself a pair of these shoes if you’re thinking about it.
I bought these on 01/01/23,And I received them on 01/12/23. I opened the box to inspect them and noticed they have been painted with white paint in certain areas. Also the sole has been wore down and the insole has sock lint on them. And this is the third time this has happen to me. Dick'ssportinggoods have to do better cause this isn't professional selling used merchandise for retail price.
It was my son’s 16 th Birthday and all he wanted was these shoes . When I received the box was completely trashed and smashed and the paper that is normally around the shoes was shredded. Upon examining the product, the shoes were previously worn by someone else. The soles were dirty and somewhat cleaned a small stain on the front of the shoe. There was also black sock lent in the shoes , so I know they wore black socks. Completely ruined my son’s Birthday and he still does not have a proper gift. I can not contact customer service, due to the Covid 19 outbreak. I reached out by E-mail and never heard back from Nike or Footlocker. So disappointed in the treatment of good customers. This is such a great color combination however there are so many defects.First off this is my favorite style air max I have purchased this style for years and this particular model feels an entire size too small. The colors on the shoe are off in many places and you can tell where they placed glue to seal threads.I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of this shoe!

I bought it for my husband. He was very excited for this shoe but it came in a plain box not a nike box.The box states uk size 7 but inside the shoe was uk size 6 . No filling inside the shoes and shoes were not in a very good shape. Alot of glued finishing on the edge of the shoes were very visible and looked low quality. Very disappointed.
