The left shoe condition was less than satisfactory. There is a obvious dent near the heal on the outside part of the shoe. Just trying to understand how things work. Stockx authenticates the shoes, but disregards the condition of the shoe?! That's disappointing. I guess I will just take it as a lost and use these shoes for work. First time using this platform was horrible. I am genuinely afraid to buy a more expensive shoe if this is a possibility.

Air Max 97s are great running shoes and gym shoes. I love the way the Air Max 97 fits my foot and how comfortable the shoe is. I’m flat footed and finding running and gym shoes is hard because I get discomfort from not having an arch and some shoes seem to squeeze and cause pain to the sides of my feet. I didn’t have any problems with the Air Max 97 shoe. The shoe fits true to size. I run track, I’m a sprinter and I typically warm up by running a mile and the shoes felt very comfortable and not too heavy. Another pro about the Air Max 97 is the balance and stability that I have in them when doing squats. I didn’t have to take my shoes off to do squats. I wore these to the movies to break them in on a day when I wouldn’t be moving too much, but they really needed no breaking in at all, very comfortable all around and true to size. The roundness of the shoe makes your foot look small, but inside it is perfectly spacious and cushioned. I also like the low profile of the laces and tongue, it’s a very aerodynamic look that will pair well with athletic wear or even with dresses. Mine are all white and I definitely plan on getting more colors to wear to the gym and for running, but also to pair with cute outfits. Always wanted these as a kid but my mom was never going to spend that much on a shoe. Fast forward to now, I was excited that Nordstrom’s has this color combo. Ordered my standard size 10. Shipping was quick, thought the box a bit warped when I received it. Once received, I immediately tried them on. Sad to say, these shoes run extremely small, especially on the right. I will be taking them back.
Was really excited for these but ultimately left disappointed with the product quality. The material cut around the front edge is very raggedy and their are a number of areas of really poor stitching. Also a lot of glue residue on the very front and sections where the sole meets the bubble. So much so that I actually watched a few videos on fake nike trainers to see if they were even real. Concluded that they are real but just poor manufacturing quality.
I ordered the all black Air Max 97s to wear to work where I walk or stand most of my 10 hour shifts. They run a bit smaller than say, an Air Max 90, but I'm glad I ordered my normal size (women's 7.5). It took me a couple weeks of wearing to break them in but now they're one of my favorite pairs of Air Max! I personally love the synthetic leather of these kicks for its durability and the reflective stripes are awesome for when I walk my dog after dark. Seriously considering investing in a custom pair of Air Max 97s for my next Nike purchase!
The Air Max 97 is a super cute, stylish shoe. My whole family complimented this pair in all white. The shoe itself is easy to get on and off, has amazing traction and feels very secure of my foot. The only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is the laces do not stay tied very long on a single knot. That may change after more wears but as a Mom of 2 elementary age kiddos, having to stop to retie my shoe consistently is an inconvenience. That being said, on a double knot I can see these shoes easily keeping my feet comfortable running around with my kids on the weekend and taking the dog for long walks. The traction was great on wet surfaces and made me feel secure with each step.If you’re looking for an all seasons, on-trend, white sneaker these are it!
The Air Max 97 sneakers in white are my new favorite sneaker that I can wear to the gym, to hang out in the city, and to enjoy the newly arrived springtime weather. I wear a size 9.5W and would say that the fit feels about the same compared to my other Nike sneakers. I wear them primarily in a padded floor gym, which it is perfect for my HIIT and cardio workouts. Although I don't plan to run in these sneakers, the reflective design is pretty cool and really makes the sneakers pop. I recommend loosening up the laces on these sneakers for a more comfortable fit. The only issue I have with the shoe is the toe area is a bit narrow, so these are not really ideal for long periods of running. I love Air Maxes and these Air Max 97s are a great addition to my collection.
I love(d) those shoes. They look so much better in person. They are right away super comfortable. As I said love(d) them. Well after I had ~ 112 miles (Nike Run app tracked) , one of the shoes exposed something sharp in the heel. Yes, to the point that you bleed despite wearing appropriate socks. At first I thought maybe it was something random. But no, it was there permanently.I don’t think that a shoe should ‘fall apart’ that way after only ~112 miles. I can’t wear them anymore. Not enough mileage for the price. One star only!
