The Air Max 97 Puerto Rico overall has a very nice design. As a Puerto Rican this shoe has significance as it allows for someone who loves shoes to represent their ethnicity in style. The shoes is certainly solid in terms of durability. This shoe does run small and I would recommend a full size up if you plan to purchase this shoe. It came with a cool towel which also is a plus. Hope that Nike inspires to make more shoes for PR in the future.

Great shoes great quality. Only thing I am disappointed about is the bottoms came scratched on the flag on the sole upon delivery. I don’t know if it was a factory issue or not but it did hurt the value for the gift it was suppose to be. Still a great shoe.
This air max 97 is great! With the mixing of the original 97 grey and red! This is version is sick as it embraces the puerto rican culture and has hidden details that most will not notice!
So happy for the second chance at getting these shoes. They mean so much to me as they represent my culture and I am proud to show these off with style! As a shoe head, I was even more appreciative of the surprise towel. Well worth the money! Thank you, Nike for doing what you do and allowing people all over the world to have a creative outlook that is a meaningful way to express themselves.
This is a beautiful shoe, has a few nice Puerto Rico details. The best Puerto Rico detail is the flag on the top of the tongue. You can't go wrong with this classic Air Max 97' design and color.The best surprise of this purchase was the towel that it came with.
At first I was so excited to get this year’s release, but the shoe was wrinkled on the toe box and paint splatter on the sole wasn’t a good look either. I am an avid Air Max collector. The towel was a nice touch. Just wish quality control was better.
