Air Max 97 is the first model from the Air Max series with a cushion along the entire length of the sole. This model was first released in 1997, and yet it still has a modern design. The inspiration was the Japanese "bullet" train. Top made of airy mesh and leather for comfortable wearing. The middle part of the sole is made of Phylon with a full-length Air system providing great cushioning. The bottom part of the sole is made of durable and solid rubber for excellent grip.
