These were an early Christmas present for my husband. He isn't typically a fan of Air Max because he says he doesn't like how they look in him but he has always wanted this particular pair. He is a shoe fanatic and has to make sure he has at least 1 outfit for every pair of shoes. He was all smiles when he opened these and tried them on and I assured him they definitely looked good on him. I was excited knowing I could gift him a pair of shoes he always wanted and that Finish Line had them on sale.

The gold bullets are one of my favorite Air maxes, and Nike did them so well this time around. Compared to 2017 pairs though I went a half size up from my normal Nike size (I wear an 8.5 in Air Max 1's/90's and got a 9 in these). Definitely a fashion over function sneaker, but these are more comfortable than the '17 versions

In 2003, my husband broke both feet in a work accident. He underwent 7 major reconstructive surgeries over approximately 2 years. Today his feet have a great deal of metal holding them together, along with much calcification. They tried him in many different shoes and orthidics. Finally, he tried these shoes on and his feet felt a comfort he hadn't felt in many years. Now these are the only shows he will wear. They give him support and a cushion under his heels that had been crushed beyond repair. He refuses to wear any other shoe. They told him he would never walk well again. But, in these shoes hes comfortable and they help him feel very little pain.

I am currently using this sneaker to go to the gym. This color combination is hard to find and FinishLine had them available all while providing excellent service. I will purchase another pair of these pretty soon.
Always have been a fan of air max styles and needed to add this one to my collection !!! They had an unbeatable deal going on so I couldn't pass it up. I checked tons of other places for this shoe and no one had this good of a price. I actually just became a member of finish line for the first time while buying this shoe and will definitely be back for more! 5/5 STARS HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is one of my favorite pairs of shoes, this is my fourth pair of air max 97's. They are so comfortable and the different colorways are the two things that keep me coming back. I hope more people can experience the same great things about these shoes as I do!
I was looking for an all black air max 97. Unfortunately, the 97 didn't come in all black for mens. I was going to color the nike swoosh as a work around until I saw the other side of the shoe. The pictures on the website don't show the other side of the shoe has a velour section, which makes the shoe hideous. I quickly returned the shoes.
I would recommend Finish Line to everyone. The shipping time is always as expected or earlier. There were no wear no signs of wear marks and the 97 airmax are my go to gym shoe. Great job Finish Line staff!!!
The shoes came defective and ripped the very first day that my son wore them. Looking into replacing or returning these shoes. So disappointed, waited weeks for them and the quality was so poor. I have a lot of these shoes and have had them for many years, so upset with the quality on these ones. There is a lot of glue in random spots and the sole was dirty when they arrived.
Absolutely one of the best shoes of I've ever worn. I have a wide foot, so I had to size up a full size, as these do run narrow; however, I would recommend you try on in store first, if possible. Once you get the size right, you'll see these shoes have been around since '97 for a reason. This model is so easy to wear with jeans or shorts, and the colorway is perfect for a minimal look that still hits. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
