Drawn from a larger Nike Sportswear collection centered around the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 90, the women’s Air Max 98 ‘Bubble Pack’ showcases the shared cushioning properties of Max Air units and bubble wrap. The latter is recreated on the sneaker’s mudguard and eyelets, highlighting the same gradient coloring that appears on the mesh upper. Those hues are repeated again on the Air sole unit that runs the length of the rubber outsole.
