I'm almost to embarrassed to admit that I own these shoes. If it weren't for my loyalty to the brand I would have jumped ship along time ago. Nike hasn't made a good looking shoe in five years. It's almost as if the people designing the shoes are purposely trying to ruin the company.

Unlike the famous 98 Oldsmobile these 98's the Nike "problem child" shoe rides different than the 97s and 95s. Phenomenal silhouette, yet they look and feel wide and bulky. I'll probably donate them to worthy cause.

I love these shoes! They are even prettier in person, but more importantly I love the way they feel on my feet. I am not a runner, so I cannot comment on how they compare as a running shoe, but I do love a good, quality pair of sneakers that can go with almost any outfit and these fit the bill. I do recommend ordering a half size up. I’ve always and forever worn an 8 in Nike but after ordering a size 8 air max 95’s that were too small in the toe box I returned them and decided to go half size bigger in these. So glad I did. They fit perfectly and look great with shorts, a summer dress, jeans.
I was excited to purchase this Air max because I love the color combo but have been highly disappointed by Nike's quality. I ordered one and it came with a scratch on the air bubble and a hole on the inside of the shoe where the toe box is. The second pair I ordered came with paint missing and has an uneven cut on the material. I feel insulted as a customer by Nike trying to sell me poor quality shoes!
For many years I’ve been wearing another brand of black trainers but fancied a change. I bought a pair of Air Force trainers last year and was surprised as to how comfortable they were. Unfortunately they’re not an everyday trainer so I decided to get these as well. I’m normally a size 8 or 9 depending on the fit but ordered the 8 based on the others. Glad I did because I reckon the 9 would have been too big. The 8’s are a perfect fit for me and it felt like putting on a pair of slippers. My other shoes (other than work) aren’t getting a look in at the moment. Totally recommend them.....the brand, the style, the fit.
Other than the quick shipping, my overall satisfaction was terrible. Not only did I get the wrong shoe size box of size 9 when I’m a size 10, the shoes themselves were mismatched with one being 9 and the other being a 10. When I returned the item they told me they would send out the correct size. Instead I got my refund because they had either soled the pair that was waiting for me or they simply lied to me and never had my size 10 in the first place. First time shopping here and last time shopping here.
I love these 98’s!!! The sleek black stitching with the perfect amount of silver and gray detailing. They style great with my jeans / polo as well as the sweatsuit. Made with comfort in mind. This shoe is more than just a trainer, it’s a whole new reintroduced wave of being in the zone. This was my first pair that I purchased and I’m up 4 other colors since and I’ve purchased 2 pair for my wife upon her request of loving the style. A must have!!!
I bought these a few weeks ago. I am a big fan of the Air Max 95 & Air Max 97, but I was a little hesitant reading reviews of the 98’s. They are so comfortable, & they break-in so easy. I love these sneakers both for fit & look- I would definitely recommend getting the Air Max 98’s. I realized one thing about the Air Max collection- buy one 1/2 size up, because they do run a little small. I have three 95’s, two 97’s, & these 98’s. They all run a little small. Other than getting a 1/2 size up, definitely get the 98’s- sick kicks!!!
