As soon as I grabbed them out of the box, I was impressed almost immediately with the Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer. They are much lighter than they first appear and I love the design and how sleek and sporty they look. I got these shoes in the black/white colorway and they go with pretty much any outfit. The flyknit provides great breathability and makes for an all-around comfortable experience all day long.Being made of flyknit means that there's usually a little less ankle support than other materials; I'm not sure if I'd use these for off-road running, but highly recommend for road running or walking anywhere. The Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer also runs a little big, I recommend ordering a half size down from your normal size.Overall, I'm very happy with the Flyknit Racer and they won't be leaving my rotation anytime soon. So far, they seem durable and I'm hoping that continues. I think these are a great pair of shoes, and I'm looking forward to many more miles in them.

Upon initial impression, this is a clean looking pair of kicks. I'm a big fan of black and white color blocking scheme and the fly knit material. The pleather material is a nice touch around the heel and laces. I'm a big fan of the overall design and aesthetics of the shoes. The fly knit material seems to be more stiff than I remember, but will probably soften up once broken it.As other's have commented, the shoes seem to run big for them. The biggest issue with this shoe is the sizing. They fit a bit odd. They seem to fit snug width wise, but there's about half and inch to an inch of space in the toe box. I'm not sure if this is be design. I've also never owned a pair of Air Max so I'm not sure how the midsole/sole of Air Max's are supposed to feel. They seem ... Due to the sizing issue, I'm not able to test the pair of shoes for a prolong period of time.Overall, I really like the color way and design of the shoes. I'd love to give it another shot with a pair that is half sized down.

As someone who owned a pair of the original Nike Flyknit Racer, I felt confident this would be a shoe I would know all about right out of the box. To my surprise, there have been some updates and changes to this shoe since the previous version. The biggest change is the Air Max unit that is now in the heel of the midsole for added cushioning, I can wear these all day and walk comfortably. The next change is the sizing. In my original pair, my size fit perfect in the narrow Flyknit Racer profile. Nike may have changed the sizing or widened the shoe, as now I have much more room in comparison. I think this allows more people to enjoy the shoe, but I would have preferred the slimmer fit to the foot. Consider how you prefer your shoe to fit when buying! Once I got ... Once I got outdoors and walked around the city, the Flyknit upper material was light, breathable and very durable on foot in both shorts and pants. The shoe held up very well on the treadmill and other gym exercises. The Air Max Flyknit Racer is a great choice for multiple times and occasions.

Always been a big fan of the Flyknit upper, Nike finally returns with a shoe that features their classic material. The Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer offers great cushioning as soon as you put the shoes on. The Air Max unit is an immediate noticeable feature of the shoe. Providing great support and feel throughout the day. The Flyknit upper keeps the shoe lightweight and balanced. The shoe does run slightly bigger, but I would still recommend true to size. Although the air max unit is the predominant feature of the shoe, it creates a bulky silhouette and weighs the shoe down. The Flyknit line should usually reflect a lightweight runner/trainer like other previous models. Such as the Free, Racer and Trainers, are by far a better representation of the Nike Flyknit line.
First of all, these are some of the lightest Nike shoes I’ve ever had. They’re a great design for the most part, and have a lot to offer.First impressions-This shoe is light. It’s easy to wear. It’s about a half size bigger than some other shoes in the same genre. The tongue of the shoe is a little awkward. Padded on top, thin on bottom. The bottom has a solid tread pattern to wear all day.The biggest reason for my four star review however, is that from the middle of the shoe back it has some strange lines. What I mean by that is that sometimes when taking an uneven step, the heel rolls a little bit for me. With it being so flat sided, I feel like I’m gonna roll an ankle really fast. Being that I play a lot of basketball too, I’m not a fan of that rolling ... MoreFirst of all, these are some of the lightest Nike shoes I’ve ever had. The only thing I desire is a rounded bottom towards the heel. Still, you won’t be disappointed by these.
The combination of flyknit and air max is an interesting one. The flyknit racer was notoriously narrow, but the air max version seems to have gotten it right. I was pleasantly surprised with the fit – true to size, which is a 41 for me – and they look really good, especially in the setting sunlight. I've worn them for some long periods of time, walking through the city, and they've been pretty comfortable. If I had to start running, I'd be confident in them.As long as you don't get them wet, you'll be good. I've seen a lot of complaints about the tongue, but I don't understand. It falls down into the shoe when it's off, but it's easy to pull up before you put it on. Maybe people don't like untying their shoes? With that said, my only complaint is how long the ... With that said, my only complaint is how long the laces are – I cut about four inches off of each one, and now they're perfect. What I like most about them is the colorway – they will go with almost everything. You can't go wrong with black and white. If I were to change anything for the next rendition, I might try a unibody design like the Lunar Epic 2.
I think these shoes are great! The cushioning with the Max Air in the heel is very nice and the flyknit upper feels like you're not wearing anything at all. I've had to catch myself a few times forgetting that I had them on, it's a unique feel for sure. They do have a slim profile, so it makes your foot look long and narrow. They also don't hug your foot snugly, so at times they can feel like they might slip, not a lot of ankle support. I think if I would have gone a half size down I would have avoided that issue, but it isn't a deal breaker. Overall, I'm very satisfied with these shoes and would recommend them.
The shoe looks great online, but in person it’s a different story. Other than the sole and a small part of the back of the heel, the majority of the shoe is an extremely thin mesh material that has no structural integrity. I understand it’s made from recycled material, but come on lol. Very little ankle support- it feels like one wrong step and you’re screwed. The tongue doesn’t want to lay flat and they’re just overall annoying to wear IMO. Biggest pro is the bottom/sole is very supportive. Also runs big so order at least a half size down.
The shoes are a great mix between traditional Air Max and a Flyknit shoe. The shoes are made of a soft and comfortable material. I was expecting the shoe to fit more like a sock since they were a Flyknit, but that was not the experience I had. I think it's because these shoes seemed to run larger than expected. I have other Flyknit shoes that I got in this same size and they fit more like a sock. The tongue was very thin and moved around often while walking in these shoes. I would have liked for it to be attached to the shoe instead of being flimsy and free. The middle of the shoes seems to be the tightest part of the shoes when tied with a looser fit in the front and the back. The shoes are pretty comfortable to wear all day and had a very breathable fabric.
The Air Max Flyknit Racer is a new take on the classic Air Max design. I love the incorporation of the flyknit material in the upper, which makes the shoe very breathable and keeps your feet cool on the run. Not only will you benefit from the breathability, but the incorporation of the flyknit material keeps this shoe extremely light (only 12.35oz in size 11). In addition to the flyknit, they made the heel counter and lace cage out of synthetic leather, which elevates the shoe's look and makes it feel more luxurious. The shoe does run large, so you should consider ordering a half size down. They are also very "form-fitting," so those with wider feet may want to avoid these. The curved shape of the sole also helps increase your ground contact time during runs. I've worn these while running a couple of miles, but running long distances may prove troublesome as you'll start feeling how "form-fitting" and rigid they are. Nonetheless, the Air Max Flyknit Racer is an excellent addition to your shoe collection if you're a sprinter. It'll keep your feet cool while you scorch the track!
