These air max terrascape are really cool to look at. I like that it's a neat take on the air max 90 with some flair, like the heel pull tabs. The white red color way I got has a little retro look and the clear sole with some speckle makes the shoe look modern. I know some may find them comfortable but it may just be my feet but I feel like it is heavier because of the translucent material. I do like how the materials used on these shoes are recycled so that makes me feel good about wearing them besides how cool the shoes looks itself. Overall the style makes it suitable for any attire I usually wear. My only concern is that translucent sole will turn yellow eventually which makes it harder to clean and with the constant use I can see it yellowing quickly.

The aesthetic and some durability concerns left me less enthusiastic. The Terrascape 90 is offered in another color option that may better suit other tastes, and hopefully improved quality control will address the durability issues I (unfortunately) encountered!

Overall I really like the shoe and feel like it takes a proven shoe design and updates its look to be more modern with potentially better durability. The only sacrifice in doing so is a slight loss of comfort.

The remixed upper materials and the oversized swoosh don't look out of place on the silhouette; I have to admit, I like the oversized swoosh better than the original. At first I wasn't entirely sure how I thought about the CraterFoam backtab as the natural variance gave it a rough look, but it isn't terribly noticeable and has since grown on me. I personally don't dress up a terrible amount, a sweatshirt, jeans or cargos, and a hat is all it takes for me. But these can work well with something like a varsity jacket, or even a retro track jacket for a super retro look.Overall, these are a fantastic pair. They're beautiful, utilize great new designs for a classic silhouette, and are comfortable enough to wear all day. Just be sure to keep them clean!
These Terrascapes make for a great updated version of the already classic 90's, but the contraversial reviews had me questioning wether to purchase them. A lot of people have commented that they look great, but they are extremely uncomfortable. Trying them on out of the box, the shoes look like they are constructed well and they fit great. The tongues on them do fit in a way where they slightly push up against the front of my ankles, but its not to the point to where it causes discomfort or pain. That was my biggest fear. These shoes are pretty comfortable and I plan to use them for work. Got them on 50% off too. Im happy with them.

The fact that they used 20% recycled material in the crater foam and more sustainable than its alternative versions. Waffle outsole provide some very solid traction. I tested the pair in a nearby forest preserve and park and they give similar traction to hiking sneakers and the side panel padding felt secure and snug.That word will be a thematic element here, SNUG. I tend to wear shoes true to size or a half size up because I have wider feet – and unfortunately this particular pair was true to size. Go ahead and pick yourself up a half size up if it’s available if you ever worked as a lifeguard in your younger years. Despite the slight pinching in the toe box, the pair is actually very comfortable and I didn’t have much aching from a brand new pair of shoes that I have gotten from all day use with others.Overall, these are a great looking pair of shoes and really comfortable, despite the slightly narrow toe box. I’m not sure if it’s just this pair (as I mentioned this is my first pair of air-max sneakers), but the heels felt chunky and stiff - perhaps it’s the recycled crater foam, but I experienced a bit of heal drag as I wandered around the neighborhood and didn’t get the response I was expecting standing on an air cushion.
