Personally, these kicks were a '90s throwback growing up. Large, bold, in-your-face graffiti design; can't deny what brand these were coming from. The shoe itself is very sturdy & doesn't flex much, with a weight that makes this somewhat feel like a boot; that's not to say you can't ball in these, but other options would be recommended. That said, these are VERY durable shoes that I believe are more meant preserve itself for it's timeless fashion of the '90s era.The comfort is still there, using Air technology. I'm able to wear these daily with no issues in walking distance. It's also very spacious in the toe box, so people with wider feet should give these a try. These run a whole size bigger for me, so expect to size down.

The first thing I need to acknowledge is Nike's outstanding member customer support. I had previously purchased these in size 11, but I found this was one of those pairs I need to go up half a size on. Being swamped with work through November, I didn't really have spare time to file and make a return during most of that month, so I was still able to do so a week ago no problem. With that out of the way, I think this has to be the most beautiful Uptempo yet - but that's fitting, given the story and concept of this release, dedicated to the legacy and persona of Wilson Smith III. The shoe is a total experience from the box to the insoles and it's a warm and well-done one. For the make, materials are heavy, durable, maybe moreso than the Action Grape colorway. For ... For those unfamiliar with the Uptempo, this shoe is thick, it's a thick hi-top, that's what you see and that's what you get. The immediate fit is great, and I'll say that's due to the iconic elastic straps. Arch support is on-point, and while I wouldn't walk all day in these out-of-the-box, I know that post break-in period you could pretty much live in a pair of Uptempos. I will say the reason I had to go to 11.5 was that for this particular sneaker, the toebox is just too close on me when going TTS. I wear 11 in certain Airs like the 90, 720, and AF1, and then others I have to size up. I'm a wide-footer, and this is a wide-friendly shoe - that's not the issue - but the length might end up being an unpleasant surprise - you aren't gonna find any padding in the toebox, so for those who like that super snug fit, this is going to hurt, no two ways about it. Going a half-size up solves that issue and the feel is no different otherwise. Overall an outstanding sneaker which I'll treasure and wear proudly, and I wouldn't have been able to enjoy them in my best size without that member support. 👌🏻

Glue leaking out between soles and uppers. Small swooshes not painted properly and not finished. Threads coming off top front swoosh. Most of the white letters where they transition from top of trainer to the base didn’t match up, some really really badly. The white pieces at the base of the trainer… some looked like they had been snapped off from a frame and left with bobbles on. I didn’t even bother taking the paper stuffing out. I’ve had fakes (unfortunately) which looked better than these.. I do have 6 other pairs some from ASOS so I do know what I’m talking about. The one star is for ASOS delivery which has always been excellent otherwise easiest return ever

Ordered the red version and it came with bubbles all over the letters that say AIR! I have gotten 5 different pairs of shoes from Nike that have been horrible quality! How are these even leaving the factory ?? Is there no quality control?? I refused to spend my hard earned money for mediocrity. I
I bought these sneakers as a present for my husband's 38th birthday. Being a sneakerhead myself when he said "they fit like foamposites" I knew he meant that they were comfortable and roomy. I love the colorway, the hint of purple wasn't too much and they look so cute on his feet. I would definitely buy this sneaker again since I know he loves this pair.
These sneakers are very nice looking and comfortable on my feet. I'm glad I finally purchased a pair of these sneakers. My friend had already bought a pair and wears them almost every day, so I know they are comfortable without a doubt. On top of them being comfortable, they are also very nice looking. The colors just pop out. I'm glad I bought them.
Loved these shoes ever since I laid eyes on them in elementary school back in the day, and finally now 27 years later I’m able to purchase them. Got the photon dust color. Giving 3 stars because Nike QC is terrible! Looked at 3 different pairs each with flaws and settled for the cleanest looking out of those. For the cost of Nike shoes in general the QC needs to be better!
I had a collection of these back in 96 but there weren't as many colorways as there are now. Now I'm starting my collection again and this new addition has a colorway that wasnt around with the originals. Air More Uptempo's scream comfort and style all in one. I'm not a sneakerhead, but I'm definitely buying all of the colors for my collection!
This Air Produce goes back in time. 1996 I couldn't afford the brand at the time I working 2 jobs to help pay bills and keeping a family together was my top priority.27yrs later no more babies, Adults has taken the Babies place with grand babies. I purchased 2 pairs of the products to help my sneakers game and color coordination be that #1 Spit with fashion. Looking forward to buying 2 more pair. Only if my wife don't kill me first before I wear them. LooooooL
