I bought these for my 14 year old son to wear to school. He’s very active but only wears these to school and doesn’t wear the for sports or activities. I typically spend a good amount for shoes that will last. These were expensive and they didn’t last at all. The air cushion sole has several huge holes in them at this point. At one point when there was a downpour and when he got inside the soles had water in them. It’s so bad he squeaks when he walks lol. The rest of the show has been great. At the end of the day of a sole of a shoe can make it with basic wear and tear, the shoe is worthless to me. I’ve bought many Nike items without problem so I’m not against them. Just thought buyer should be aware when purchasing these.

Comfortable for sure. Runs true to size. Beware. You have to make sure your buying either woman’s sneakers or men’s sneakers. Men’s sneakers are larger in stature even if you get the correct size. There’s just more to the men’s sneakers Only the men’s sneakers don’t always go down to my size 5 in men’s. Therefore these sneakers I bought fit but only with big thick socks

I have the older vapormax shoes. They are THE most wonderful shoe I’ve ever owned! BUT I have holes in the toe in each foot. My boyfriend insisted I get a new pair… I own the all black and they are a men’s shoe size.. the store didn’t have women’s in all black. Anyhow.. I ordered the new vapors.. mens.. in all black. For the sole reason that I could not find the old ones to replace them. I thought I’d give these a shot. Welllllll.. they are not like the older vapormax at all! Bulkier and not as springy.. I’m so sad. I will be returning these

The Vapormax 2021 is an okay sneaker but, in my honest opinion, not worth the premium price tag given the other options that Nike offers at similar price points. The Vapormax 2021 is definitely a step up from previous with the improved air unit providing better stability and the traditional laces, rather than the pully lace system seen on the Vapormax 2020, but the problem of stability still persists in a lesser fashion due to the almost cleat like feel under foot. I'll admit that I like a little bit of extra room, not too much though, in my sneakers just for some added comfort but the Vapormax seemed to provide too much of that when I went with my usual size of an 11 so I went down half a size to a 10.5. If you have a narrow foot you should be good with going true to size or maybe even downsizing by a half if you like to have a tighter fit, but if you have a wide foot I highly recommend going a half size up to get little bit of extra wiggle room in there. All in all I think that the Vapormax 2021 is a vast improvement over previous models, with the traditional laces and the improved Air Unit, but I think that the persistent lack of stability with these sneakers even after being improved up with the minimal comfort that they do provide makes it so that I can't recommend these sneakers at the premium price point that Nike has them priced at when Nike already offers other options at similar or cheaper price points that are a much better sneaker than the Vapormax 2021 is. Only buy the Vapormax 2021 if you're already a fan of a previous model and want a new one, you're curious to see for yourself what this silhouette has to offer, or if you want to have something to use as a fashion statement.
Haven't had a pair of vapormax before but loved the airmax360. These are more rigid almost like a soccer cleat (or football boot for ya Ted Lasso wankers). Because of the footbed's air pattern, the sole is lumpy and so I don't recommend on a rocky ground. Turf and grass would be okay but you're picking dirt out. Overall, they LOOK fast and turn any lazy pair of sweatpants into "athletic joggers" when running to the grocery store.
These shoes make you feel like your walking on a cloud. The comfort of these shoes are superb- even more comfortable than my sketchers which are my go to for comfort PLUS they are very STYLISH. The design of the shoe is well thought over- for the most part. The bottom of the shoe is made to withstand impact and can withstand sharp objects in most areas. However, certain areas are vulnerable to puncture which can flatten the air out of these pricey bad boys. Not the biggest concern but one none-the-less. Overall though, the pros outweigh the cons. Would definitely buy again!

The fit like a glove to your feet and provide you with that extra bounce you need to keep your day going. I play basketball and I used to wear slides to and from the game until I discovered vapormax. Now I wear vapormax to and from the game because of comfort and they also provide a stylist look. My only dislike about this shoe is that on the exterior of the shoe facing inside after a long amount of wear there is a small tear on both shoes. How this my be a one time thing. The upper of the shoe is soft, but the air isn't really, and you can feel the separate air parts under your foot. However, in the 2 weeks I've had them, it's getting better. I think you just need to wear them in.I got them in the gray/white color, and they have little colored specks from the recycled material which is cool.One last thing is the laces come untied a lot imo, you need to really make sure they're tightened when you tie them up.
I bought this shoes thinking they would be comfortable. I was partly right. For the price of these shoes I figured I would be able to stand comfortably for more than twenty minutes. I was wrong. Although they are comfortable, so are many other shoes for a fraction of the price. Don’t get me wrong, the average cost of my shoes are around $135. Some more some less. But from the advertising of these shoes I expected a lot more. I was very disappointed.
I have the vapormax fk2 and I think they very great!The 2021 are more stable and very comfy but toe is a little narrow vs the fk2. I was a little disappointed in the foot bed or insert!! I looked at all my air max and flynitt from back to 2009 and all inserts are the same material or make up. With your recycling is fine but inserts are terrible. My feet sweat more and the insert is not soft anymore. The insert kinda feel rubbery to me. DO NOT like them at all. I wore new socks also and they pretty much beat them up and they are EXPENSIVE socks. DK why you would change something that was working great for a couple decades. Would recommend the shoe but cannot say anything good about the new insert. I bought two pair. One from finishline and 1 at nike.
