This is my husband 2nd pair of the vapormax 97 shoe. He loves them. They are very comfortable and stylish. He receives a lot of compliments when he wear them, they are a true head turner.
I love the slime green bottom got them because of the color but a great pair of Nike. I'd definitely recommend purchasing a pair of any air max, but go a size up.
Long story short....no give around the toes, the bubbles are unevenly supportive, the bottoms are sloppily glued to the bare material of the upper. they didnt even try to mask the textured un-materialized bottom underneath the bubbles. def returning to the store.
Boo’s: As mentioned by others, these run small with no give at the tow. The foot bed has virtually no cushion, and the VaporMax sole (surprisingly) is not very bouncy. The other major problem is the sound they make. I tried them on my dry, wood floor at home and the squeaking was obnoxious. It sounded like a one-person basketball game in my living room.Yay’s: They’re pretty great looking.Very much on the fence about returning these...
The Vapormax 97 is very comfortable and is stylish! The 97 air max is my favorite, so adding the vapormax bottom was a nobrainer
I will say there is some truth behind some of the other reviews but for the most part, I am very happy with these sneakers and will use these as a pair I wear regularly as opposed to ones I collect and only break out of the box occasionally.
Bought these purely for the color and the style, very pleasantly suprised with the construction and the comfort of these shoes.
