To my surprise, these shoes are actually very comfortable and supportive given the light materials they are made of. The fit is a bit snug at first which I didn’t initially like but after a few wears I love it! These are made for running on the track or any other long/short distance cardio. The snug fit allows your foot to stay planted and not slip around inside and the shoe has incredible grip that I’ve never felt before when compared to other running shoes. Most dedicated running shoes sacrifice comfort and many other things for weight savings which is a big deciding factor when purchasing. These shoes are an outlier and do not cut corners on anything. The thing I liked most about the shoe was the grip and outstanding comfort. It is really like no other. The only thing I would change about the shoe would be the ankle lining. If you’re wearing no show socks or short enough socks that don’t cover your ankles, it may slightly irritate them. Other than that, these shoes are perfect! Would 100% get them again.

I was in the market for a new running shoe and decided to go... big. After hearing about the Next%'s, I decided to give it a go. My initial impression of the shoe was what is this? At first it looks futuristic, intimidating and let's face it, a tad goofy looking. After the first week, I was blown away. I felt that for the first time ever the shoe is actually doing the running. I was cheating. The shoes actually spring you forward due to the carbon plate in the fore foot area in addition to the Zoomx. It's extremely comfortable and fit true to size for me. The upper provides a lot of breathability with that sock like feel. I was worried about stability issues since it does have a really high midsole which I felt added an inch or two to my height. Over my short time so far, it feels like it getting more and more comfortable and my feet and legs are not so fatigue afterwards. If I were to give it a negative, it would be that you really can't wear these as a casual shoe with jeans. It's definitely a performance first shoe. Also, the laces are different than what I'm used to. They're flat, while I feel that they do help support the top of my foot, I wonder if over time they'll start to come apart.Only time will tell.If you can get past the 'look', I assure you will be completely satisfied by this pair of running shoes. Well done Nike.

this is a great shoe for running or walking. Super springy, feels good in home gym or running outdoors. Very light, probably the lightest ahoe i have every had, and responsive to every step.Incredible cushioning, feels like you are running on clouds. The only drawback for me is the ankle support. I have had previous ankle problems, so I prefer a shoe with more ankle support.Otherwise, great shoe for runners or walkers. I have also worn while running errands and had no foot fatigue, even while walking a few miles in the mall.

This is easily the highest end pair of running shoes I have ever used. I average about 30-ish miles a week running and have mostly been using the React cushioning line lately. These shoes on the other hand have a rebound effect during each stride that is really unique! Feels like the shoe is actually pushing you forward during your run.Unfortunately for me, the arch support is rather pronounced in these shoes relative to what I’m used to. Perhaps my feet are just a little flatter than average, but I struggled to get a comfortable fit that wouldn’t leave a pressure point in my left foot arch. I think that with the right foot shape, these shoes would be a perfect pair for race days. Just not quite the right fit for me.
This is an amazing shoe with the way Nike made the soles! The only problem is that I have very wide and flat feet so the shoe was very narrow on me.I have 3 ways that I judge a shoe: fit/comfort, design, functionality.Fit/comfort - As I mentioned above this is an incredibly comfortable shoe since Nike has done an outstanding job with the sole technology. The airzoom air unit, zoom x mid sole, and fly plate make for the perfect combination of comfort and stability. The zoom soles make it seem like you’re walking on cloud while the flyplate provides the stability you need to feel like you’re walking on solid ground. My wide feet feel cramped in the shoe and my low arches make it painful to wear this for a long time. If Nike makes this in a wider width it would be perfect.Design - this shoe is from the future. The overall look is so innovative and it looks like a spaceship. The only downside is that it looks like a platform shoe because the soles are padded so high. The shoe is also extremely versatile and can be worn with a lot of different outfits.Functionality - other than jogging outside this shoe has little functionality. The high soles make your center of gravity too high so it’s hard to play sports in these shoes because cutting and quickly switching direction is so difficult. Running on hard pavement for long periods of time and running in a straight line is what this shoe is made forOverall it’s a great shoe. It’s a bit pricey but I think it’s because of the technology that went into it. I just wish it was wider.
Omg, omg, omg. I just got done taking a run in my air zoom alpha next 2% & I can’t stop talking about this shoe! The looks r a lil unorthodox at 1st but once i took them out for their 1st run on the track, I was instantly hooked. this will be my new running shoe until there’s technology that can surpass this shoe, & let me tell you, it could be a while. I can’t say enough about the energy return on this shoe. It makes Mile runs effortless. It’s super light weight, comfortable & returns energy like. I thing I’ve felt before. If you try this shoe you too will be hooked as I was. Once u get past the different appearance, you’ll be sold.
I was excited to get these shoes to mix up my running routine. Overall my experience has been pretty good. The first thing to realize is that these are different than most other running shoes I’m used to due to the cushioning. The sole of the shoe feels almost rounded (in a good way) which results in each step naturally propel you forward into your next step. This definitely helps make every step take a bit less energy, but also allows you take each stride a bit faster. I did notice that my 2-3 mile runs were about 10-15 seconds faster than usual in these shoes. The only thing that I wasn’t a big fan of was the top of the shoe, which is made of a structured mesh material. It doesn’t impact comfort at all, but it does allow rain/wind through, which makes this not an ... MoreI was excited to get these shoes to mix up my running routine. This shoe is a marathon shoe, so do not expect to wear this shoe all day long. It has a single purpose, running long distances. Lots of cushion help support the foot, but the netting on the top of the shoe cuts into the foot. I found them very uncomfortable. I did get the correct size but they did not fit right. I could barely slide my foot into it, and when I did I was in pain within 10 minutes due to the mesh upper being so tight ontop of my foot. They have a really large outsole to protect your feet during marathon running. They do not work well for everyday wear. I would only wear this shoe for dedicated running. They are a tool for runners and nothing else. The design is wild, but engineered for marathon running. It is not the best looking shoe, but again, I ... This shoe has a rare fit and feel that is unmatched by other outdoor running shoes. The Air Zoom Alpha Fly Next% 2 grips around your foot with ease and has a lasting comfort throughout your run, no matter the distance. You don’t get that clunky feel most running shoes have, rather you feel supported, and this shoe has a soft landed with every stride. The truly unique design makes this shoe a one-of-a-kind product that will have others frequently asking you what the name of that shoe is so they can go buy one. This shoe's brilliant design and various color schemes make it a must have shoe for both leisure and active wear. I enjoyed how nice it was to go for long run and come home without any pain, knee or foot, because of the support on both the bottom of the shoe and the back. Blisters are always a pain after a long run and this shoe has added support on the heel, so this never happens. Between the unique design and visually appealing color scheme, mixed in with the great support this shoe gives, I would recommend this shoe to anyone in the market for a one-of-a-kind shoe.
These shoes are crazy. I have never ran in a pair of shoes that make you feel like you're flying like these. My strides felt so effortless. Its no wonder that the first sub 2 hour marathon was ran in these. One thing to note about these is that they are extremely specialized for just that-running long distances on a flat surface, but they do that probably better than any other pair of shoes ever. The transition from heel to toe was so smooth like nothing I have ever worn ever. I am a pretty casual runner meaning that I don’t record my times for certain distances really, but I am positive I could smash any PR in these. These are really just out of this world and an extremely fun and satisfying shoe to run in. Would 100% recommend to any runner looking to really cut ... MoreThese shoes are crazy. The only flaws that I noticed were that after my first run, a couple of the fibers in the air zoom unit had snapped (see photo), but not enough to have any noticeable affect on performance. Definitely really impressed by this shoe and am proud to possess a pair.
