Nike you did it again. Hands down the best version of the Alphafly. That first run in the original version was simply incredible & I didn’t think that could be done again especially after v2. V2 has grown on me by now, but this version is amazing. Short runs are fun and long runs as advertised. I love how the design factor & how light they are. Great job. I’m eager to see the next iterations of Vaporfly & Streakfly with the new design form factor.

Best Running Shoe Ever Made

This is by far the best running shoe I have ever owned! I have bad feet but I have never felt more support. With every step I take it feels like the shoe is assisting me ! I am very impressed. The bounce is incredible. I really liked the alphafly 2s but the 3s have me in love with the shoe. The shoe fits incredibly well. My feet feel amazing in these. The bounce these gave me on my run was 1st class. Amazing shoe !!

Best shoes in the business! Go half a size up though.

The shoes are exactly what a person needs to perform their upcoming marathon. The Nike Alphafly 3’s are extremely responsive and have the best energy return out of every stride compared to the competition. I would recommend to people making this investment to go a half size up. I am a true size 10 in Nike shoes (I generally run in the Nike Pegasus Line for reference), but the Alphafly’s in the Pink/Purple color-way at least do run smaller compared to most Nike models. I have tried on a pair of size 10.5 Alphafly and they fit more like a true to size 10 Nike running shoe. Overall, these are awesome shoes and are the best marathon shoes on market!

Game changer
28 December 2024

Returned to running after a 40 year break. Six months in I decided to run a marathon on five days notice. I got these because they are supposed to reduce fatigue and make recovery faster. I ran sub-4 at age 57 with six months of training and a five day taper. The next day I had no problems running six miles. Nineteen days later I ran a half in these and set a post-high school PB in the mile, 2 mile, 5K, 5 mile, 10K, 15K, 10 mile and half. In these shoes, I run like a different person.

Great Forefoot Support
24 July 2024

I hate running shoes mostly because I’m 6’3 215 lbs and a forefoot striker and I feel like most running shoes are designed for people who are 120 - 180 lbs who are heel and mid strikers. The end result of using running shoes for me is painful ailments like metatarsalgia and PF. I had to resort to low top basketball shoes for adequate forefoot support when jogging. I thought I’d try running shoes one more time and went with these top of the line shoes. I love them. They have awesome forefoot support for athletes who want to train by not running on their heels and mids. After all, an athlete on his heels is getting beat by an athlete on his forefoot so why would you want to train for athletics with a shoe that concentrates on heel support? If that sounds like you then ... MoreI hate running shoes mostly because I’m 6’3 215 lbs and a forefoot striker and I feel like most running shoes are designed for people who are 120 - 180 lbs who are heel and mid strikers. I would not buy this product again
15 May 2024

I really wanted to love these shoes since they cost so much and have gotten great reviews . I am not a super fast runner and wanted these for race day. I took these out for a test run , 6 miles, to make sure they would work for race day. They were definitely springy and light. The problems were: 1. The squeaking coming from the shoe was unbearable ! It wasn't the inside of the shoe it was the outside or where the carbon plate it.2. I developed R knee pain after my short run and now I'm dealing with that 4 weeks until the marathon.3. The insoles are not removable so if you need orthopedic insoles you Best Buy 1 to 1 1/2 sizes larger if you plan on ripping out the factory insole and putting in your own.I think maybe I got a bad pair but not willing to try again

Lives up to the hype!
15 November 2024

I have run 5 marathons and have now used Alphaflys for each one. I used the Alphafly 3 for my latest NYC Marathon and can’t recommend them enough. They are light, durable and bouncy. They look incredible. In the past I have always gotten black toes, but I finally decided to go a half size up in this version and voila, no black toes. Will definitely be purchasing additional colors for future races.

Significantly different from the Vaporfly Next%, but not in a bad way
10 November 2024

I've run in several pairs of Nike Vaporfly Next%, but decided to pay the add'l $25 to try these this time around. They are significantly higher (i.e. a thicker sole), which is not a problem for me since I don't tend to twist ankles, but be careful if you do. They don't have a tongue, unlike the Next%, and the one-piece stretchy top is a fairly tight fit to get on, although it is comfortable once you do. They were quite noisy - lots of squeaking when I run, but I expect that will moderate as they get broken in. I haven't raced in them yet, but they feel good on workouts, although different from the Next%.

Very good Running Sneaker
30 October 2024

Nice running sneaker! The comfort is different than any other running sneaker I have experienced. Good overall feedback as it’s also very light. The only thing I can complain about is this is the most expensive Nike Sneaker I have bought and the quality could have been a bit better. The back part of the heel is coming apart from the body of the shoe a little on one of them just one week in.
