Arguably the best high-cushion basketball shoe from since the Lebron 17, and it may well out perform those as well. Extraordinarily light for the the cushioning provided, the GT Jump 2 is a significant improvement from the previous model, particularly in terms of stability and lockdown (no upper-tongue lace pressure this time, unlike the previous model). The zoom pods are also slightly firmer, and the well-caged React in the hell and midfoot does exactly what they intend it to do.It's extremely difficult to make a shoe this stable and well-protected also feel this active and athletic. I'll be buying multiples and stocking up so that I can keep wearing it on court long after it's discontinued. A triumph.

If you are looking for a shoe that has arguably the best cushioning and bounce, then look no further than the GT Jump 2. It is an amazingly designed shoe. I will say that this is mainly for big men. It is a little on the heavy side and if your play style is cutting to the rim and shifty moves, I would not recommend this shoe to you. The court feel is almost nonexistent, but the support and impact protection is top tier. Big men, you’ll love this shoe. Guards, I’d suggest something that is lower to the ground and made for that shifty play style.

Dope ball shoe with lots of support. It has a really nice grip on the hardwood courts indoors, and just as good of a feel outdoors too. I really love the icy bottoms/outsole of the look with the colorway of the entire design, and didn't really feel any discomfort with the foamy midsole either. Shoes felt a bit tight around the curve of my foot, but I understand I gotta break them in some more, and that will take a bit to get used to. Wish it could be a little lighter in weight, but that's the only thing I can complain about. I also really love that there's extra cushioning on the inside, around the ankles. That's the biggest thing I noticed. I've never seen that before, but that was definitely needed as I usually feel my other basketball shoes digging into the back ... MoreDope ball shoe with lots of support. The react cushioning compounded with the massive air units felt as if I was walking on a cloud. I love the height of the shoe as well is gives you a good inch or two lol. The shoe fits very snug so I recommend going up a half size. The materials are super durable i wore them to play basketball and gym almost everyday since I’ve had them and they still look brand new not a scuff in sight and that’s amazing. One note is the plastic stability plate/shank in the shoe is a bit stiff to begin with but everything breaks in after a few days making them even more comfortable to wear. As a huge fan of the original G.T. Jump, I couldn't wait to try its successor. Suffice it to say I was NOT disappointed! The Jump 2 is still as comfortable, lightweight, and reactive as its predecessor which is really all you need in a quality basketball shoe. The cushioning seems to have been moved a little more from the heel of the shoe to the forefoot which seems a bit odd to me but I'm not paid to design performance shoes for a living. I trust the designers did the shoe justice and I certainly have not experienced any heel/shin/back issues (but I've only worn them 3 times). Aesthetically I also give a slight nod to the original G.T. Jump but the 2 is still pretty sharp in my opinion. I'm 6'9, over 300 pounds, so I wear a large shoe. (Size 16). Thank you Nike for making a shoe that is not only very supportive and comfortable but also has the style that typically only comes in up to size 13. I love these kicks and can't wait for new colorways so that I can get another pair or two. Guys with big feet want to be able to wear the entire Nike catalog, thank you for giving us one here.Other than that, I really appreciate the ankle support despite the low profile. There is bounce in these shoes despite my body weight. Love them!
These basketball sneakers are truly exceptional. From the moment I tried them on, I knew they were something special. The fit is absolutely perfect, providing me with unmatched comfort on the court. As I examine the sneaker closely, I discover intricate details that make it even more appealing. The color scheme strikes a perfect balance, not overpowering yet still eye-catching. Initially, there was a slight squeak, but it quickly disappeared. I wholeheartedly recommend these sneakers to anyone who values both style and comfort. It would always bite and my foot wasn’t sliding however, I was playing at my local gym which they aren’t always the cleanest. The usual swiping of the sole will be needed but I do believe if I play in a clean court cleaning the soles would be minimal. Outside was good. I never had an issue were I felt I was slipping. Now the cushion. The forefoot is a huge zoom unit and rear has some of the softest react cushion which is a great setup up. But I did say beefiest and to top off that great set up it’s loaded with an air zoom strobel and that takes it to a whole different level that makes me bounce after every step. I love react and zoom air. But in this situation it did feel a bit too much for a player like myself. I like to get more court feel and with this set up you won’t get any. There is so much cushion it feel a little strange. A good strange but it might just be that I’m not used to playing in a set up like this. I would definitely recommend to anyone that want the most cushion on their feet. This will be the best pair of shoes you could ever have.
Got these shoes for my son who plays AAU Basketball. He got tons of compliments as a lot of kids had not seen these before! Super comfortable, lots of bounce in them. The material is soft but this colorway in particular (black-white-blue-tint) would be thought to keep clean if work for everyday use. That is the only downfall to otherwise solid shoe, but if worn specifically for basketball these shoes fit the bill. They are above average comfort for sure.
