The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 for men are comfortable, neutral running shoes. These newest versions of one of Nike's most popular shoes have undergone a few changes. Most of these changes make the shoes even lighter in weight than they already were.More strategically placed perforations in the Engineered Mesh Upper at forefoot and foot bridge height ensure improved breathability. This keeps the feet cool and comfortable when running. The heel collar and the shoe's tongue have been made thinner without surrendering comfort. The Flywire cables, also found in the Pegasus 35, have again been used in the 36th edition of the Air Zoom Pegasus. These cables provide you with a securely enclosed and safe feel during your runs. The Air Zoom Pegasus 36 has also been provided with a full-length Zoom Air unit. This ensures a very responsive and fast feel. The Cushlon ST-foam in the midsole has been made a bit sturdier for running faster tempos, but still knows how to offer comfortable cushioning. The shoe's sockliner adapts itself to the feet for a personalized and comfortable fit. The outsole's pattern has been improved and now offers more grip and traction on different surfaces.

When I pulled on my new Pegasus 36's for the first time, I was very disappointed to find that Nike had shortened the tongue. I cannot even understand what Nike was thinking about when they shortened the tongue. A couple extra grams of weight will not affect anybody's run time; and the tongue has a utility benefit. A runner can more quickly pull on his shoes in low light conditions. Or, even if he has to stop to remove debris from his shoe, the longer tongue makes it easier and faster to get the shoe back on and laced up.My first run after receiving these shoes was a 12 mile cross-country trek. They performed just as well as the Pegasus 35 (which was the best shoe, ever). Also, Nike might re-think the laces that come with the Pegasus. The flat-shaped laces are prone ... The flat-shaped laces are prone to coming untied in the midst of a run. Personally, I am used to it and keep a stash of oval shaped laces. When I get my new Pegasus shoes, the first thing I do is trash the flat laces and replace them.

Got this shoe so I could run outdoors, since I am a treadmill runner. Usually run in Nike Free or Flex Experience, a minimalist shoe. This shoe has a very nice fit around the ankles and grips my toes just right, not too tight and not at all loose. The main concern for me was if I got enough foam or should I have splurged on a Nike Vapor line running shoe and paid a lot more. Lucky for me, on the first run this shoe did it’s job very well, I felt no stiffness in the shoe, felt good support in my arch and did not feel any uncomfortable movement. The technology in this shoe is good enough for an average runner like myself who just wants good support and comfort, but does not have a wide foot. Overall I am very satisfied with the shoe and the performance.

I ruptured the left Achilles tendon in January and am rehabbing now. I needed a pair of shoes/sneakers to begin walking/rehab that had high heel lift/toe drop (these are a ten), soft cushioning (these are a five) with support/freedom for the Achilles tendon. The Pegasus by Nike meet these requirements, are stable and have appropriate flex for me.In theory, I could run 4-5 miles a day in these, so for walking and rehabbing the Achilles , these are incredibly comfortable and supportive. The Pegasus is the result of Nike research and partnering with world class runners, is a very highly rated shoe (in the top ten of many reviewers) and is reasonably priced as a running shoe, although more expensive than a traditional "big box" retail sneaker. This is about as close to "custom" as you can get, Nike makes a variety of running shoes in a variety of "drop" "cushioning" "flexibility" and "support'. Spend some time figuring out what your specific needs are and then spend the extra to meet them. You will be happy you did. These are great shoes..

I’ve purchased the *Miami version through the Nike run club. Believe in the spiritual matters towards fashion. Great pair of shoes and is allowing me to activate my genetic potential to full capacity while connecting me to the ocean of Miami, Florida. I can feel the Hydro-Current deep-down beneath my feet while running and the attracted particle’s I can store in my soul for later usage. Technically speaking-not very experienced but offers great cushion and endurance capacity + stabilization to what I’ve already accomplished when developing the base skeletal, nerve structure, and muscle capacity in my activated feet network; looks fantastic too. I can’t wait to run each day while training for the Chicago Marathon!
This is the fourth generation Pegasus that I have owned. My feet are rather wide, so that limits my shoe choices, as Nike doe not offer a wide width in a lot of different shoes. I previously had the Nike Pegasus 33 in an extra wide, and it was really roomy. Just as I was wearing them out, the 34 came out and the 33 was on clearance, so I purchased another pair. My next pair was Vomero 13, also in a wide. Those have a similar fit to the Pegasus, and both work really well for me. However, for long runs, the Pegasus really holds up and my feet feel great even after 10+ miles. The only down side is that the little grooves along the outside edge of the shoes really accumulate a lot of little rocks over time, so once a month or two I have to dig them all out, and then the ... I've had these for just under a month and I love them. With the gym closed due to COVID19, I had to find a different outlet for working out so, I took up running. These shoes had great reviews so I decided to get a pair and I am not disappointed. I took them for a spin as soon as I picked them up. The reviews also said that no break-in period was required. They're lightweight, have great support, and almost propel you forward while running. I just purchased a second pair from the Pegasus line so that I'm not wearing these all the time. Whether you're an avid runner or a beginner like me, you'll find these shoes perfect for your running needs.
As we all know we are living in this “new normal of Covid 19” so I felt it was wise to invest in another pair of running shoes as an alternative to the gym. Well, after reading the outstanding reviews I decided to curb side pick these up from Dicks. I tried them day one for my typical evening run in the flats through the Watchung area Hills here in New Jersey suburbs. Horrible, no bounce when running, no cushion! Knee began to hurt and hills give me hip pain. “I’m 26 by the way and healthy 5’11 190.” Best advice either stick with the New Balance which are on sale for 29.00 if available in your area curb side it’s not in mine. Or Brooks / ASICS. Lately I have been disappointed in quality from Nike and will be sticking with my fav New Balance. In the mean time till my ... Also I should add they don’t accept returns so be mindful of really reading reviews and research. I was lucky enough to have a great store associate help me out and get a refund. Due to Covid it’s understandable but harder for customer.

My favorite running shoe for years was Nike Pegasus. Loved the 32s, had a great fit for me. Even ran the LA marathon in them. It's unfortunate for me that they made so many changes since. The 36s were so uncomfortable. The heel continuously slipped during the run, not enough to cause a blister but a noticeable distraction. The fabric isn't very breathable either, my feet got very hot just after 3 miles indoor on a treadmill. Not a fan of the tongue either, or the design in the back. Just completely ruined this great shoe imo. Pegasus used to be my go to, no longer, I returned these and bought a different brand.
I really enjoy running in these shoes. The Pegasus 36 seems to be the same as the previous model, the Pegasus 35, except Nike has shortened the tongue. Nike should have left it alone. I liked having a little extension of the tongue as it made it easier to pull on the shoe, especially if the runner is in a hurry. As a separate issue, I do not understand why Nike continues to equip their really nice and expensive shoes, such as the Pegasus, with shoe strings that one might find on a pair of leather dress shoes. These flat-shaped laces are worthless on a running shoe as they so easily become untied while on the run. I keep a small supply of oval-shaped shoe laces that I use to replace the laces that come with every pair of Nike Pegasus. I think Nike could afford to ... MoreI really enjoy running in these shoes.
