First time wearing this model. Love Nike running in general.Nice snug fit. Maybe a little tight for true to size (12)After approximately 35 miles they are starting to become flexible enough that I get a little pop off of them. Let me state that I’m an older person who has been running since the mid 70’s and my best days are behind me but I still can get after it sometimes. I feel the shoe has more to offer in terms of performance. Time will tell. I am feeling better about them as time goes by.

I've been running consistently for the last 4 years and these are probably the best daily trainers I have purchased. Right amount of cushion and support to help me go longer distances as well as incorporate speed work. I never knew how important good shoes were until I bought my first pair. After that, I have bought 3 more pairs. Highly recommend!

This shoe is solid and durable, yet lightweight and breathable. I'm mostly walking, with mild jogging here and there, and my feet don't feel fatigued at the end of my exercise regimen. Great arch support, nice open toe box. My next pair will be the same shoe, unless they make a better version.

So after my New Balance 880V11 started giving me some back pain after running (I'd put about 300 miles or so on them), I decided it was time for a new pair of shoes.I went to a local FleetFeet and had my feet measured. I had purchased the NBs at a local running store in Cincinnati.I walked out with Peg 39 in mint/"pure platinum" colorway. As many reviewers previously mentioned, the Nike decal started peeling off after about 3-4 weeks of use. I took them back, and walked out with a pair of Brooks Ghost 14s.I was weary of the reviews pointing out Ghost's lack of durability. I worked out in them and walked around for 2 whole days, and just couldn't tolerate the stuffiness of the shoes. I also had some left foot pain for whatever reason.Unfortunately, I took the ... I also had some left foot pain for whatever reason.Unfortunately, I took the Ghosts back and exchanged for Peg 39s in a different colorway (the Crimson). Reportedly, the platinum/mint colorway is known to have the decal peel off, and it is not a universal problem, which was a relief because these shoes are very breathable, they're extremely responsive and comfortable.I am not an avid runner, but I do incorporate about 1-3 miles of running into my workouts almost daily. For my use, these shoes are perfect.
I’ve ran in every Peg since the 35 & this is by far the best version! You can feel the loss of weight, making each run more enjoyable. The 38’s felt a little bricky & stiff, but these feel light. They did great on my longest run so far which has only been 10 miles, however, I wouldn’t hesitate to push them further. I plan on these being my marathon shoe in December. I wish the tongue was a little thinner like the 35’s & 36’s but overall, it’s not too thick. I absolutely plan on getting more pairs of these. Since the Pegasus models only make big adjustments every other year, I look forward to 2 full years of this base! I was on the fence between these & another pair of the 38’s l, but I’ll never look back.
I have the Peg 38's, 39's, Invincible 2's, and a pair of the Peg Gortex Trail 4, so that is where my comparisons will be coming from mainly. These Peg 39's are not a step forward. Yes they are lighter, but by adding the Zoom Air units to the shoe, I feel, you are loosing the consistency in the roll through on the shoe. The air bags felt very prominent, in the pair I received, and not in a good way. Also I feel like the Upper, although lighter and cooler, is uncomfortable, and "gritty" to the touch. I read and watched a ton of reviews on this shoe pre and prior it launch, and it is Not what it is hyped up to be. At this price you could find at least three other brands that make similar priced, but better overall shoes. Go try them for yourself, and do not blindly ... I have loved all the other shoes I have purchased from Nike for the Fall season this year, these just fell flat for me.
It was the look that first attracted me as well as the various colorways. When I read that they contained Nike react tech I knew it would be comfortable. The size 13 fit for me was true to size and fits and feels great. The cushioning and support when walking and running is one of the better nikes that I've had. Very happy with purchase and waiting for sale to purchase another color.
Nike Air Pegasus was the first running 🏃♂️ shoe I ever owned, bought at RTC Orlando Florida in December 1993!!! Yes 30 years ago, and they were the only ones I would wear for years. I tried the 35 or 36 a couple of years ago and they just weren't for my feet. These 39's have made me very happy, comfortable and supportive. At first I was very skeptical about the heel, it HAD to slip looking at it but nope, not at all, NO slip! Nike makes a sharp, sleek, simple shoe that looks and feels great! I may not go running for miles anymore but my Pegasus last all day and feel amazing!
Can’t beat the price. Get all black. Won’t dirty easy. The black pair material is actually more like a shiny grey anthracite color in the sun and make them really pop. I see there are more comfortable options out there but these look more like your everywhere everyday type shoe. And the softness is definitely better than what I was wearing before. Also they say the 39 is softer than the 40 and look better. Took 2 days for the zoom/react foam to really break in. Definitely little to no or less pain after a full days work. Which was all I was looking for. I see people say the invincible run 3s is really like walking on a cloud or even other shoes are more comfortable but the style of those usually lean more towards a runners shoe and look too goofy for me and usually ... I have been a die hard fan of Hoka for a long time. However, since I usually run about 250-300 miles a month, I go through shoes really quickly. I have run about 100 miles in the Pegasus 39s and I'm really happy with the decision. They may feel a little firm to those that like more cushion but so far, I think they are fantastic.
