Wish they weren't going out of stock, the Pegasus 39 is way better then the Pegasus 40!! Pegasus 39 is like walking on a cloud, after my spinal fusion these are the only shoes that have given me proper support!! Please do not discontinue!

Air bags popped after 70 miles

I run in college and was expecting the Nike Peg 39s to be a good daily trainer to use anlong with my Nike invincibles. After the initial break in period at around 15 miles, these shoes started to shine. However after 60 miles, my runs started feeling very different in these shoes. I wasn’t sure why. I decided to take out the insoles and there was a valley under the forefoot where each airbag goes on each shoe. I’m really disappointed that these shoes became useless after only 70 miles. I love Nike running, but the tech in this shoe didn’t hold up for me :/ unfortunately I bought them from a different retailer with no return policy

Best. Purchase. Ever.

I am obsessed with these sneakers. I wear a size 12 women's/10.5 men’s and they fit perfectly true to size. These are my every day shoes as a busy hairstylist/salon owner. After wearing one pair for my daily 2+ mile walks for almost a year, I knew they were the ones for work so I purchased in every color. Highly recommend!

Great Shoe

So comfortable for the price. Love the gold color. I want another pair. I said runs small but I just know when I buy Nikes I have to go up 1 size so that's not a problem.

Great shoes right out of the box.

I have not purchased Nike running shoes for some time. I have been using a couple of their competitor's shoes. I decided to give Nike running another try. I am glad that I did. These shoes are great right out of the box. Very little break in time. As I get older I am more of a walker/trotter, but these are excellent for what I need them for. Another plus is the gold color. I really like it. I would buy again and highly recommend these shoes.

Not for me :(

I bought these sneakers a little over a year ago and don’t really care for them. I’d never owned a pair of Pegasus prior to purchasing these, but knew of their reputation in the Nike runner world and decided to try them out. I wear a size 8 in women (Nike no longer has the women’s Pegasus 39 posted) and the sneakers just felt too heavy on my feet during my long runs. Also, no ventilation and I found my feet would get really hot on runs. I tried to give myself some time with them, in hopes of adjusting and maybe growing to like them, but they are just not doing it for me. I DREAD putting them on :(I bounce between the Pegasus and an old pair of Lunarglides that I LOVE! So disappointed to find out Nike stopped producing the Lunarglide.
